Josh was amazing as well as the other folks we talked to at Smokey Mountain Tops. Really professional, took his time in making sure we found the very best for our kitchen remodel. There is a huge assortment of types, patterns, cuts, corners and colors, but Josh took us through and spent the time necessary to educate us on finding the perfect material for us. This is one of the most critical selection in getting a perfect kitchen, and in our view there is no going back once it is cut and being installed. We really feel that Josh helped us make the right decision!! Put them on your list if you are getting your kitchen remodeled.

I don’t think this is a counter top showroom. Not sure where you go to order from this company. Plenty of people standing around computers, no one interested in working with customers.

SMT is one of the best countertop fabricators in town. Through working at FE Trainer, I've seen them constantly stand behind their service. That goes a long way when investing so much into countertops.My wife and I did a remodel on our personal house and used SMT because I trust them so much.

Waited months for our countertops. Finally arrived. They didn't have the sink cut-out, so I waited an additional 5 days for individual to come out to cut it out. They were surprised that the countertop wasn't installed. It is a bit hard to have a functional kitchen without a sink. It was a rushed cutout for sink. Also, to note that not to exceed 10" overlap of cabinet. They didn't make the grain go same way at corner. Seeing the design prints provided no support for the island. They had months to accomplish task but didn't even look at the prints, not concerned about customers, and no pride in work.

Bob and Mason did a magnificent job on our countertop and sink installation. They were on time, professional, friendly, neat, and prepared. Our project manager, Kari, was on top of all our requests/changes, and we couldn't be more pleased. Highly recommend this company.

We decided to replace a total of 7 countertops in our kitchen and laundry room. We seriously considered three companies for the job. Our decision to choose Smokey Mountain Tops was based on two primary factors: the ability to do the job and the value of the product and service. We knew we were well cared for from the moment we walked in. Meagan our sales rep and project manager was knowledgeable and professional. She worked with us during the final selection process and guided us each step of the way. Scott did a great job measuring each piece and offered suggestions regarding the final design of each piece. The tear out team for our existing tops was well versed in how to efficiently tear out the old tile tops and did so in a tidy fashion. We ran into one problem during the production phase but Jason was right on top of it with a great solution and a timely fix. The install team explained the process prior to starting and was very open to our questions and alternative suggestions. The install went very smooth and we have a great end result that will last for many years to come. We really appreciate everyone's effort to provide a great experience and product. We would only consider SMT for any future projects and highly recommend others consider them before moving forward on any project within SMT's purview. Thanks SMT!

We arranged for Smokey Mountain Tops to remove countertops prior to tile floor demolition, then replace after new floor installation. When the representative informed us he was going to cut out the composite sink and it may break, our contractor told him he did not need to and advised not to. When the rep maintained, our contractor informed him that he would cut all but the very last portion with a dremel tool to avoid chipping or breaking. Contractor did so and left tool at sink for rep to complete cut and achieve removal. Instead of using tool or completing cut, rep hammered wooden wedges, cracking sink. After visit, contractor and I agreed there were aspects of visit that were bothersome, and we should consider alternate provider at reinstall. I received email from SMT stating they could provide replacement sink at my expense. In subsequent conversation, the weight of the sink was cited. I communicated with General Manager that the countertop w sink was considerably less weight and size than the island countertop they removed, and the sink could easily be picked up and held w one hand. Store representatives and professionals have all told us that sink need not and should not be removed. SMT GM told me that they did not want to subject workers to lifting attached sink over cabinet. The sink added 9 inches to clearance. We had 5 additional people on site to help if needed, as we were also moving large cabinets including floor to ceiling cabinetry. I informed GM we had chosen an alternate provider to reinstall countertops. I accepted his offer to pay half the cost of sink, and was told Accounting Department would be immediately contacted to issue that reimbursement. The alternate countertop provider from West Knoxville did fantastic reinstall. The reinstall took longer than removal as mechanical vibration handles to promote adhesion were used, and unsolicited improvements were made to original fitting. Their fee was $800.00 less than what I was to pay as second half to Smokey Mtn. Tops. They also noted sink should not have been removed. I waited for weeks for reimbursement, then called many times, left Voicemail w Accounting, waited over a week, left another voicemail, but have not received response. Based on service and pricing, we were disappointed in Smokey Mountain Tops.

Supply chain slow these days but our installers were great. They had to carefully remove existing granite without cracking or damaging tile backsplash. They protected our floors and did grinding outside to avoid dust even though we offered our garage. Excellent work. We’re very pleased with final product including design and cabinets by Erin at Kitchen Sales.

I was recommended Smokey mountain tops by quite a few people and my contractor to use for my kitchen renovation. Going to see their vast selection and talking to the people in the showroom I was very impressed and excited to choose options for my kitchen countertops. After working with them and completing the project, hands down I will always use them for any project I will ever need to have done. Everyone was extremely professional and easy to work with. And my countertops are absolutely amazing! Thanks so much for everything you all did for me, my mom is using your company on her kitchen project now and is extremely excited as well!
