Yesterday, I signed a contract with Cetra Pro Painters to paint the exterior of my home. They said that they use Sherwin WIlliams (SW) to purchase the paint and they will have paint chips/charts to help me select colors. I went to the 11110 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN Store today @4:35 pm EST. Three customers ahead of me. So, I walked to the color chips/charts side of the store to see if I could get some samples. No luck, it was all interior chips/charts and a limited exterior wood transparent solid stain samples. It just under 20 minutes before I got to the only salesperson working at the time. When I asked him to see where I could look at the SW exterior brick paint samples, he looked at me as if I was speaking a foreign language! He said that he had nothing of the sort but if I give him paint sample color numbers, he could mix them for a sample for me. I promptly told him that I could NOT do that because I did not have any chips/charts to give him the numbers. He just looked at me with a "What do you want me to do???". Tomorrow, I am calling my Certa Pro rep to see if they use other paint retailers because I do not want SW paint! The person you had working when I came to your store is a disgrace and gives your company a bad name. Shame on you SW...Well, I went to the Lowes Store off Cedar Bluff, Knoxville, TN the next day and the store had a "whole section of interior and exterior colors. I was able to pick up exterior chips and pamphlets that your Farragut SW store simply DID NOT HAVE!And I picked three colors (1) KILIEM BEIGE for the exterior brick, (2) AUSTERE GRAY for the soffits and exterior wood trim and (3) DARKROOM for the front and back decks.Question 1: Why do I have to go to Lowes to see all of your paint chips???Question 2: Why do you hire IGNORANT employees???SHAME ON YOU AGAIN!

I ran into a couple issues with paint color matching. Jarrell, Richi and Tara helped me knock it out of the park with their stellar customer support. I wish everyone of our vendors were so accommodating.Happy Repeat Customer!!!!!!!!

I went into this location looking for a specific stain they sell. Since they did not have it in on the shelf, they made one up. I would have thought it would have been the same price, but it was not; it was more! But I needed the stain. I returned less than weeks later and asked for the stain again, giving them the can with the formula. I was then told it was even more than what I had paid. After telling them that, they did give me a discount but it was still more. Both times I was not greeted. There is a lot of chit chat going on between the workers.

My mom just moved here to Tennessee from Florida. Looking to paint the entire house. Walked into this Sherwin Williams, and did not even get a welcome. We weren't even acknowledged. We figured because one employee was on the phone, and the other was helping a customer at the register. But then realized that they still didn't care to help us once they both were done doing what the previously doing. One went to the back, while the other is just sitting behind the counter the entire time. Never checked on us once while we were in the store. If it wasn't for my sister knowing about paint and colors, we would have been lost. Terrible customer service! Was not happy with this location.

Always a positive experience when I come to this location! Jerrell is a 5 star employee and is so friendly and knowledgeable! Sherwin Williams is lucky to have him! He is also spot on with paint matching. Not sure what some of these other negative reviews are about because whenever I come into this location all the employees are very happy and friendly. Love the quality of the paint also!
