It really depends on which location you go to because they're very inconsistent. The good: for what you pay a month for unlimited washes, it can be a good deal. With a monthly membership you can also go to any of their locations. There are many locations to choose from in the Knoxville metro area. The bad: Over a year my Highlander windshield (2023 mode) is very scratched up, but it's really only visible with night driving. Annoying though. Obviously, hand washing would be safer on the paint and windows than a brush that might be loaded with who knows what form the hundreds of cars it's washed that day....Some locations are far better than others. I avoid Lenoir City and Farragut, as they tend to not clean as well as other locations. It used to be that there was always somebody with a mop brush to clean your back window and liftgate area on SUVs because their machines never get the back very clean. The problem is that has become a rare site for them to have people clean the back of the car anymore. Even though I live in Lenoir city, I avoid that location because I'm tired of seeing people who work there in a group talking when they could be cleaning the back of the car. You shouldn't have to go to a prep station to clean it yourself when it's an automatic car wash. There was also one of the brushes at the Lenoir City location that seemed like it had half of its bristles missing, and it would just smack against the car instead of spinning smoothly against the side. I was told they've since fix that problem, but it lasted for months. I have the polishing tunnel addition at the Alcoa location and it seems to work well, but it's very out-of-the-way to get too often. It's the only location with that type of option. When the first one opened on Alcoa Highway the service was impeccable and the cleaning jobs by the machines were excellent. The Alcoa location still does a good job, but I try to avoid older locations and hit newer ones when I pass them. It seems like the cleaning and the machinery takes its toll and drop off within a year. Overall: for the $40 I pay a month for unlimited cleaning, it's still an OK deal (if you're near one of the locations that does a good job). Unfortunately there is inconsistency at each location. There's a lot of competition out there with other car washes and they're all offering monthly memberships now, so it might be time to try, a competitor for a while.

I've had a pure magic membership for 6+ years and never had an issue. Now I've had 2 issues in the past month. A piece of equipment rolled up and dented my truck bed . Another piece of equipment hit my mirror so hard it knocked it clean off of another truck. Both trucks are not lifted nor dually. have been through the washes more than you can count and never an issue. Pure magic is refusing to take accountability or responsibilty for the damage.

We have been using this car wash for years and it steadily declined to the point I was looking for a new place. We decided to give it one more chance and we're excited to have help with the screen, better washing of our car, music outside, cloths and cleaning fluids and vacuums that worked. This is a huge step up. For anyone else who was fed up and looking for another place, come back. Come back now.

Have the equipment is missing inside the way tunnel and has been for months, the waxing roller at the end works about 50% of the time, really gone downhill since switching owners. I'm gonna cancel my membership

Logan Hogberg is the district manager of PureMagic Car Wash and clearly the highlight of his day is living out his retail dream of talking to customers like they are dogs. Do not take your car to this business if you want to take care of it. In order to contact anyone associated with PureMagic Car Wash or Mammoth Holdings you have to make it your second job, and when you do contact someone be prepared for them to talk down to you, interrupt you, and generally just treat you like you personally wronged them. I went for a $21 car was on 4/6 and I received $150 in damages. Apparently no one at Mammoth Holdings cares to respond to the claim I submitted or confirm that they obtained the footage of the damage on 4/6. this is not a business that locals should support.

If I could give half a star I would. We moved back the end of August and then we found a house in December which didn't have a pure magic car wash near us so I called four times after cancelling our unlimited washers. We was charged two months after I cancelled our unlimited washers and was hung up on, lied to told me they would call back. They never reimbursed me for the two months they took out of my account.

Car wash is pretty good. But recently went by there and the floor mat washer wasn’t working and most of the vacuums totally lack suction. Not the quality I was used to for an $11 basic wash. Will be looking for other places in the future.

Membership was unknowingly upgraded in December. Didn't realize this until March. The car wash location was kind enough to refund the difference for March. They said customer service would have to reimburse for the months of January and February. Called customer service and they said that since I got the reimbursement on site and that it was more than 29 days after the billing they would not refund me for the other two months. Very disappointed with their customer service.

Went todayon 02/03/2024 at 6:40 pm and place was closed website says open till 7pm. Starting to think this place is a waste of money.Does not clean the front or rear of car. I was there today 7/15/23 not one of the vacuums work. For the price of a membership, they should always be working.the longer this place is open the worse it gets.

So disappointed. $20 and I leave with a soaking wet car and dirt still visible all over the place. You can see where the brushes didn’t even get the middle of the car.

Does NOT have courtesy towels & spray at the vacuums!!! Go to Zips if you want free towels and spray!! I love to thoroughly clean my car on the inside. Not going to pay $5 for something Zips gives.
