I have recovered from several major injuries (ACL, MCL, discectomy, strains and sprains) and worked with many physical therapists over the years. I can easily say that the care I have received from Prompt is the best by far. Friendly office staff, professional environment, and brilliant PTs. Paul, Steve, and the whole team have brought me back not just from major surgeries but also frustrating aches and pains that I have been at a loss as to how to heal. I am so thankful for this practice and highly recommend to anyone!

Everyone here is so caring and truly interested in helping. My daughter is fairly shy, and they all took the time to get to know her and make her feel comfortable. AMPS is a difficult thing to work through and they have been great at encouraging her, and even through a hard relapse they helped her through the pain and she improves every week.

We were referred to Prompt from ETCH to help our ten year old daughter with AMPS. She has been twice a week for the last three months and worked with Danielle, Sloane and Anna on her treatment program. She has seen incredible improvement from walking with a cane to getting back to jumping and walking unassisted. The physical therapists really went the extra mile to work with our daughter and make the activity fun. They were sensitive to her needs and we’ve been so grateful for their compassion and knowledge. We are happy to continue working with them for our daughters AMPS recovery.

In October 2022, after 7 months of chronic and debilitating back and hip pain (and 6 weeks with another local physical therapist), I came to Prompt Physical Therapy. Paul Wilson has been my physical therapist at Prompt. Paul quickly assessed my issue as SI Joint Dysfunction and initiated a regimen of daily exercises with weekly appointments for the purpose of strengthening my pelvic and back muscles to stabilize my SI joint.Today, I am pain-free, stronger and more stable than I have been in years. At 68 years old this brings me great comfort and hope for a future with an active lifestyle.I am deeply grateful for the precise diagnosis, wise counsel, and conscientious care I have received at Prompt Physical Therapy.

I do not recommend at all. And abundance of religious and political (tea party type) rhetoric. Just look at the sign outside their business. I should have paid more attention to that. Then to be tole "jesus brought you to us" is over the top. When I asked for a statement. The balked until I said I would need to tell my insurance company if they would not provide it. They had been doing some bogus inflated claims of the actual treatment I received. I strongly recommend go elsewhere

Steve, Paul, and the whole crew at Prompt are the best in the business. I’ve gone to them for two separate issues, and they were able to diagnose and resolve both in a timely manner. I highly recommend them to anyone

I was going for PT at KOC for the first month after my ACL reconstruction. When I was able to start driving I started going to Prompt based off of recommendations from friends. I am very pleased with the level of attention to detail and knowledge of the therapists. My treatment is night and day from what I was receiving before and I am confident that I will return to full activity and then some. A good physical therapist can make a huge difference. I would highly recommend this business.

Having been born with a congenital birth defect, most of my formative years were spent in a waiting room at KOC, beginning in 1968 or the physical therapy department of the same or external. Years of follow up exams, procedures, physical therapy, at just about every single PT in the Knoxville area. General (for me) wear and tear on my body became more prevalent and painful in the past 4 years. Orthopedics having become so specialized, it was difficult to find ONE doctor who could address and treat my symptoms. They're all connected. Then, a friend recommended Prompt Physical Therapy. Skeptical, but in such dire pain, I called and scheduled an appointment. They tell us in the professional world, that the 1st contact you make with a business, can make or break your potential acquisition of clients. When I spoke with Bailey, to inquire if I could be treated, I was greeted with such positivity and warmth. Hmmm? How is this possible? It won't hold, was my skeptic response. I went to my 1st appointment with Steve and left thinking "that was such a positive and different experience", it probably won't hold. Here I sit, comfortably typing this, sciatica pain is completely gone. Not once did anyone associated with Prompt Physical Therapy ever look at me and ask me "why?" about my inability to do what was asked of me or when I described my inability to perform the most simple of tasks. Their approach is KNOWING why! Their approach is listening to the patient! Their approach is healing! Their approach is honest hard and sometimes uncomfortable work for all involved. The results? 100% positive. I have but one regret, I did not find them sooner. The knowledge, the warmth, the professionalism, the kindness, the caring, the healing, the positivity, create an environment for healing. I am thankful to have found Prompt Physical Therapy.

Paul Michael and the whole team at Prompt are the JAM! He helped me get back to running after a L5/S1 injury in Oct 2019 and I came back in the spring of 2021 to undo a 20 year old ankle injury that had been throwing me off for years.Specifically, here is what I appreciated with rehabbing my back. Back injuries are so scary and worry sets in quick. First, he gave me realistic expectations on how long I would be sidelined - the ugliest word is sport, ha, and what to expect over the next few months of recovery. Then, he enthusiastically helped me to understand the not only mechanics of the body but the mind-body connection through visuals and great analogies so it would click. Healing and retraining movement starts in the noggin! Paul Michael always checked in on how I was doing, remembered and asked about family members, pets, running events, and was 100% invested in helping me get better.Slowly but surely, we unraveled the layers, reprogrammed and I’m happy to say my back has been pain free since cleared to run Jan 2020 and bad habits from my old ankle sprain have been banished. I even smoked a running record I set about 10 years ago this past Memorial Day!Before I “graduated”, PM left me with some knowledge for going forward and exercises to do if I feel a flare up to keep in my back pocket. He also gave me exercises to do to continue the retraining and strengthening process. To have a successful outcome in PT, you must view your PT as a teammate/coach. Do the work not only in the office but at home, too. I’m so grateful to Paul Michael and all of the staff at Prompt as part of my team to good health and smart training.
