I made a new friend, Rhonda, who helped me with the majority of my boxes. She never made me feel hurried and got me in and out a lot faster than I thought. As a customer, I just want them to know I appreciate them.”
“Not at all busy. Plenty of parking for PO Box customers and those needing counter help. Gentleman was friendly and very helpful in helping me get my package boxed up and sent off.”
“Unprofessional and Unpleasant Experience at USPS Delivery Location**
As a truck owner and driver with experience across 48 states, I've encountered a variety of USPS delivery locations over the past year. Unfortunately, my recent experiences at this particular location have been far from satisfactory, making it the worst I’ve dealt with to date.
**Issues with Staff Conduct and Professionalism**
The primary issue lies with the Day time supervisor who receives deliveries at the gate. Despite her role, she has displayed behavior that is both unprofessional and concerning. On multiple occasions, she has been extremely rude and unhelpful. There is a noticeable lack of professionalism and manners, which is particularly disturbing given that this is a federal government facility.
**Concerns About Substance Abuse**
Even more troubling is the apparent substance abuse issue. It is clear that the supervisor is under the influence of some kind of substance while on duty. This significantly impacts her ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with drivers. Her husband, who is responsible for unloading, also seems to be affected, which raises serious questions about workplace safety and efficiency.
**Unreasonable Wait Times**
During my most recent delivery, I was made to wait over 5 hours to unload just 3 boxes. While waiting times can vary, the excessive delay in this case, coupled with the unprofessional conduct of the staff, made the experience particularly frustrating. The issue is not the wait itself, but the manner in which it was handled.
**Recommendations for Improvement**
Given that this is a federal facility, I strongly urge the administration to conduct regular substance abuse testing for all employees, including the supervisor and her husband. This is crucial to ensure the safety, professionalism, and efficiency expected at such a location.
In summary, the unprofessionalism and apparent substance abuse at this USPS delivery location make it an unpleasant and concerning place for deliveries. Immediate action is necessary to address these serious issues.”
“Easy to find, and drop off packages. Best part about this place oversized packages your don't have to wait in line to drop off, they leave a bin out front your can dump them in and leave.”

7544 Oak Ridge Hwy Ste 8, Knoxville“Great customer service from the woman working there. She helped me when I wasn't sure how to ship out an item since they were out of small flat rate boxes.-1 star because the USPS supplies are minimal.”
“Easy and convenient though parking was a challenge. I was able to pop in, purchase some postcard stamps, apply them to my Clingmans Dome postcards and drop them in the slot.
There is very limited parking in this part of downtown Knoxville, but I found a quick spot nearby.”
“I'm elderly and disabled. Had problems getting packages since I moved into a high rise apartment. Called to find a solution and a truly lovely lady answered immediately and went an extra mile to help me. There are some wonderful people in this scruffy little city and one of them works at the North Knoxville Post Office! And thanks to the front counter employees for their help as well. Friendly smiles and great cooperation from mail carrier to counter employees, sorting room and administrative personnel.”
“Everybody loves to dunk on the post office, but I was in there right after Christmas when it was packed, and I waited behind:-Multiple people trying to drop off FedEx packages, and not understanding that that's a different service-Someone trying to carefully wrap a gift at the counter with a dozen people waiting behind them-Someone who literally did not know the address they were trying to ship to-Multiple people annoyed that the employees wouldn't tape their packages for them, or provide free tapeAnd despite all of that, the counter workers were courteous to everyone.”
“They are always nice and helpful when I bring packages to this facility. I’ve been to a few of the surrounding post offices and I go here because of the people. I go out of my way to go to this one.”
“Our mail has been delayed due to slippery roads from the winter storm. Today I went in to check for a package I needed before leaving the next day and Kelly went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed! With everything going on, and other people wanting to get their mail picked up, Kelly assisted me and others with getting our mail and packages! Thank you Kelly and everyone else at our local USPS location for all of your hard work!”

137 E Young High Pike, Knoxville“Very easy to buy some and mail your packages. Handicap parking up front. The interior counter doesn't open until 8:30 so watch your arrival time. Two friendly ladies working the front today”
“Use this place regularly and this is one of my favorite ones because the Dropbox is larger than most post offices and allow for bigger packages to be placed in. They are not as big as the main post office drop boxes of middlebrook but there's not another one around that has this size.”
