Love this store and owners are so nice. Great boots and authentic cowboy/cowgirl clothing, lots of turquoise jewelry and the artisan prints are amazing. Will be back….

I am slightly obsessed with this place and want them to do well and stay open so posting here for all the world to discover! Unique finds. Lovely prints locally made. Lovely staff. A reminder of the Knoxville I fell in love with over a decade ago.

I have. Known Phillip and Julie for many years. They know their stuff for sure! Western treasures including Nudie, Turk and celebrity owned Stagewear even including items worn by cast members of Hee Haw. Phillip is always dressed to the nines in vintage or western designed items made by the likes of Manuel or Jerry Lee Atwood. Julie is an amazing letterpress artist. I had promo items made for my former store in Nashville that were a hit with customers and still sought after by collectors

If you're looking to go to California or New York City, look no further, you can feel like you're there with high prices and a strict mask policy! I was about to spend up to $400 on one shirt. Now I'll just have to go on the Internet. Another "Mom n Pop" shop goin down the tubes. Not from any government mandate, they chose this on their own. Probably a Yankee, exploiting southern culture yet again. You're not welcome. Fear does not sell here!

If you're looking to buy quality, handmade, local goods, look no further than Pioneer House! Julie & co. produce amazingly unique pieces of art. It's always a delight to pop in, spend some time browsing the supply. Also, you have to come back often, because they're always printing new materials. Looking for something special for a gift, look no further! Also be sure to check out Phil's wealth of vintage cowboy and baseball gear! A tone of amazing items, and, again, the supply is constantly turning over.

Located in an 1950s Bakers shoe store with lots of lovely windows, this charming shop has the perfect Nashville/Knoxville/Asheville aesthetic. Tons of vintage boots and one of a kind Rockmount embroidered western shirts are to be found with sadly appropriate prices ($250 on up). This is not a lucky find kind of shop but rather a special treat for a wearable souvenir. Interspersed throughout are letterpress posters and arty signs as there is indeed a print shop in the back.
