Management has ruined this location and ran all the good employees off. Won't be shopping here anymore.

Crazy prices. If you were truly a Christian, you wouldn’t be doing this.

Karm is one of the most evil businesses I have ever come across. As someone who spent four years homeless in Knoxville I can tell you for a fact that they steal homeless peoples belongings every day. They do not provide you with a safe place to keep your belongings, you have to leave it all unattended by the front door . At around 11am every single day a Karm Stores truck comes and takes everything that was left or forgotten, doesn't matter if you're in the hospital. It's crazy how many homeless people would go into their stores and find their belongings , somethings even with their names written inside, on their shelves for sale. This place claims 100% of their profits goes to helping homeless..that isn't possible.. they lie. They make so much profit and have so many donors that if that were true the streets of Knoxville wouldn't be littered with hundreds upon hundreds of struggling homeless day and night. I pray those people are able to get out of that city and get actual help from a place that cares because KARM is not that..

Prices are absolutely insane at every location for items they received for free so I’m done shopping at all KARM’s effective now. They should seriously not refer to themselves as a thrift store. They will no longer be receiving any more of my donations or money. Too bad I can’t add photos of some of the ridiculous prices I just saw.

Fantastic store! Great selection, and very good prices. Store was well laid out, and very clean and neat. Staff is the store was super sweet, and exceptionally helpfull. It's obvious that the management is good to their people, and KARM itself has always seemed to be "good people" I will shop this store a lot.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. I bought a really nice piece of furniture that was too large for me to handle on my own. They helped me load it in my truck.

PLEASE stop donating to KARM stores until they correct their evil ways! Do you want your used T-shirt that you DONATED to CHARITY being sold for $17.99? I am... thoroughly disgusted. There is NOTHING THRIFTY about this shop. I understand charging a couple of extra dollars for a new shirt with the tags still attached. But when most used t-shirts are going for $9.99 and some are going for much more, then someone clearly needs a lesson in charity. MOST of the items in this store are going for MORE that their new counterparts at Walmart.

I go to karm every few weeks and I used to always buy something just bc. Can't find good deals anymore so I never spend money here. I do my research on anything I buy at thrift stores. If you have people who's job is to find the most competitive price for donations then you don't need to be in the thrift business.

Well stocked and well run. Interesting selection. Occasionally prices run a little high compared with other KARM stores for the same stuff. Stuff gets skimmed off from this store and goes to other stores since overflowing shelves reduce overnight. You cannot return clothing. All sales look to be final so buyer beware. The music is loud. Very loud, sometimes making conversations difficult if you wear a hearing aid. Nothing wrong with the music, its just cranked up.

The KARM store on Oak Ridge Hwy in Karns is always very neat and organized. We love shopping this location much more than the others. Great job to the folks that work here.

Don't go here if you have sensitive ears. Seriously. Their air conditioner sounds like you're standing under an Apache helicopter. It's take terrible. I'm not sensitive to sounds, and it gave me a headache in minutes. It's a loud, low, pulsing sound that reverberates throughout the entire store. The ceiling and lights actually shake in places.Other than that, not much different from any of the other KARM stores: overpriced donated items. Research before purchasing.... Much like a pawn shop, you may end up paying more for a used item at KARM than it costs to buy new. And when you show them that they're charging more used than the item sells for new, they get a terrible attitude and tell you that they don't care. It's worth noting that the private for-profit company that runs these stores makes millions of dollars each year..... It's not just "for the homeless".Even the front-end associates have told me on multiple occasions that they're frequently appalled at the prices they see on the merchandise. But, it makes sense if you know how the KARM stores pricing works. The pricing department is graded on HOW MANY DOLLARS PER WEEK they put on merchandise. So, it's in their best interest to put the highest possible prices on everything they touch. Otherwise, that get reprimanded and low evaluation scores.

Everything in the stores is right around the same amount you’d spend at Walmart for used goods at this store. You do stuff for homeless and things but you rip people off in your thrift stores. We’re in a recession with rapid inflation and you will see you’ll drive up the prices on your stuff so high people will stop coming in and you’ll have second hand overpriced junk sitting in your stores. Not to mention, your CEO lives like a King on that salary.
