Prices are high. Unfortunately KARM is missing the other side of the coin. Yes you want to get max for your product you sell if you can but Karm gets it for free. Free no retail product purchase costs, no Ebay fees or taxes when using eBay prices to price items and no taxes. Yes it is for helping the less fortunate but what about the less fortunate who come to shop and can't afford to go to a retail store? There are lots of people in our neighborhoods who can't afford retail and need places like thrift stores to buy clothes, shoes, household supplies or furniture. What about these people? I see it when I am in there browsing (I am usually looking for something vintage that needs some fixing you can't find elsewhere) around there are people who you can see are in need and are unable to get what they need even at a thrift store. Just my two cents.

I don’t like to repeat Myself, but I will Until karm is shut down! It doesn't even deserve to exist! Steve, the manager, who’s Truly Satan, acted like he wasn’t even phased by the preposterous prices! There would be a brand new Alexa device, still in the box, that would be priced at $2.99 and an old, stained, baggie T shirt that was $29.99. MOST of the donations are thrown away. Tracy, who’s a soulless body, made certain to guard the trash. As long as it's being respected and kept clean, why wouldn’t they have free bins, comparable to McKay’s, rather than security cameras and impenetrable dumpsters. They paid $9.00/ hour to run the store and when the truth was told, “upper management” fired its BEST Employee! Where’s ALL of that money Truly going? It’s NOT going to that building downtown, have you ever been inside. Satan is the True ceo of karm! The donations are supposed to be given to those in need, the homeless; and yet, they would rather destroy the items that are not being sold, for a profit, rather than Help the needy! The whole karm thing is a big fat LIE!

KARMS is a good organization but KARM is NOT a thrift store but a RETAIL price store under the guise of charity.Yes, they do good work but they are way OVER-PRICED.!!!Why go to KARM when you can buy NEW on different (non-charity related) websites or in a store. If you look around at other thrift stores, the prices are HALF the price as KARM.!!!KARM, as many FREE donations you get, there's NO reason to be so high on your prices.!!!I'd rather go to a real retailer than shop there. Now, that's not to say you don't do good work but with the donations you get, there's no reason to be SO HIGH when immediate turnover will yield the same results.Unless, y'all aren't getting the donations you need and/or just throwing long sitting things away.If the latter is true, why not give those items to other thrift stores.??? Heck, you got it FREE to begin with.!!!QUIT ripping off the public, giving a LITTLE back, and making the owner rich.!!!

Karm offers a good variety of items that I have purchased over 10 years. I also have donated things I don't need in good condition.

Always double or even triple check the “behind the counter”bags they sell even if it looks legit. Don’t make them push you while inspecting as I was. Learned my lesson! I bought a purse and few hours later I found out it was a counterfeit of the brand when I did more research. Of course they would not take the purse back and give a refund. So I guess they don’t mind lying on their description tags and are above the law regarding selling counterfeit.

We used to always stop here traveling from Lexington, KY, to GA.Back when we started going there, it was priced for the poor to shop there. Now, used Tee-shirts are $7.99 and a lot of items are priced at or near new prices. I asked was it under new management and was told it wasn't. It's not like used items being sold should keep pace with growing inflation. A thrift store should be priced way below average. We probably won't waste time shopping here again. It used to be about helping people and spreading God's love and gospel. Now...$.

they are so absolutely over priced Even calling headquarters makes no difference I told them they were not an antique store.. Bottom line is they do not care what customers think. It's sad a mother cannot get clothing at a reasonable price. Sad you can get same product at wally world for less. They do not care about people who really need help I would venture to guess the owners do not have concerns about buying clothing for their kids. I tell anyone i see how over priced they are, They never have a day where items can be purchased at 1/2 price and even that is too much in most cases.. This company has a horrible rep among the public When i called headquarters their reply is they feed people. Well I wonder how much more they could feed if the quantity of items sold increased at a reasonable price Their reply was I'm sorry you feel that way. My reply was well that's on you not me. We never how long any business will exist

Heard a manager say to watch the homeless people because they will steal everything. Maybe if the stop raising the prices on the stuff that KARM gets for free, they could buy the stuff.

I dropped off items after our yard sale today and the guy was clearly upset that the items weren't in bags or boxes and voiced his displeasure a couple of times. I politely told him that he probably shouldn't be so picky, considering people are GIVING items to be sold for profit. My husband and I spend every Saturday going to different KARM locations and have spent a LOT of money in those stores. I will say that after today, I certainly won't be donating anything else.

I had never heard of Karm stores before. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and prices of the items they had! What makes it even better is they do give to charity and actually better communities! Will definitely be going back!
