I would be ashamed to call myself a thrift store and charge $17.99 for a used shirt. I don’t care what brand it is. It’s used. A long time ago, Karm used to price items the same across the board regardless of the brand. Just like Goodwill. Then greed took over. Greed in the name of “God”. My family and I spent thousands here back when pricing is fair but we shop at Goodwill now. Everyone, please check out Goodwill in Bearden! You can find Free People and all the brands Karm thinks are worth $20 a piece, for $5 or $6.

This place is a scam ?. They get everything free and overprice it and claim to be a charity ? the owners name must be charity because it all goes in their pockets and has made them rich from the poor people. Pathetic oh and when they decide they can't sell something they crush it and throw it away not pass it to maybe the homeless shelter. I will never shop here or any of their stores again

KARM has shown their true colors, throwing out children's stuffed animals instead of giving them to the homeless, charging 5$ for dollar tree made items. They recently fired an employee for rightfully speaking out about, and couldn't even give her in writing the supposed policy she violated.
KARM has been getting so much money from scamming people into buying overpriced USED items for years. Not giving employees raises for their work regardless of how many years they've worked for them.
I remember when I was a teenager, I was able to afford nice clothes from KARM and nothing was overpriced. Now I will never set foot in a KARM store again. I would rather delivery food to the homeless myself than get scammed by a supposed thrift store. Charging retail prices for used items should be a crime. This is anti Christian in broad daylight.

My daughter and I went to Karm after we went into UGO, just like we always do. My daughter picked up a pair of jeans for my husband. She was going to buy them and put them in the kids' department (everybody does it) and was going to buy them tomorrow. The manager accused her of stealing the jeans. She was wearing a pair of stretch shorts and a T-shirt. I looked at him and said, "Where would she stick them?" Of course, he blamed her and offered no apology.
We have never been accused of stealing before, especially not at a Christian store.
I would give zero stars if I could!

I have nothing but great experiences with the kind and friendly staff at the KARM stores I shop at, so I wanted to mention that. But good Lord, the prices are extortionate! I hope they pay their valuable employees well! They can certainly afford to with the extremely high prices that they charge for their items.
$9 for a used coffee mug!? The cheapest I've seen was over $3! AMVETS sells mugs for $1!? Something doesn't seem right. This is supposed to be a thrift store!

Every Karma I've ever been too, is extremely over priced. There's absolutely no reason a used Tshirt should be 7-8$. It's a thrift store. Especially the name brand baby -kids clothes. Their Ganna grow out of them within months and still, very overly priced. If I'm Ganna thrift, I take my money to Goodwill, well I feel it's fairly priced for already used items.

Bagging up a toy with several missing pieces and stapling the bag together and putting 10.00 on it is not good KARM. After getting this home I opened it and realized my child could not even play with this, it should have been thrown out in the garbage.
The Manager wouldn't even exchange this for anything my child could actually play with. This manager is as cold hearted as the devil himself and ripping kids and parents off, not to mention the people bagging these garbage toys up and pricing astronomical prices. I will never ever be back. Unbelievable greed

The prices are astronomical. I’d rather donate to goodwill and help my community be able to afford clothes and shoes.

In a world where prices of everything have sky rocketed and many people struggle to acquire nice things to fill their homes at reasonable prices while still filling their stomaches there is a place called KARM. At Karm they will charge you an unreasonable price of something they have out by their crusher dumpster and won’t negotiate. They would rather crush the item and take it to a landfill before they take anything less than their price. Yet they are contributors to feeding the homeless? My purchase from the dumpster could have fed someone I’m sure. Today I inquired about an item they were getting ready to crush and this is how it went. When I expressed how that was really unreasonable I was told to leave. This particular store I have seen on a number of times crush like new items (I happened to be the donor of these items) that’s how I know they were almost new. The manager who approached me today exited the back with attitude ready to argue with me…. I was already in motion towards my car to leave as she started yelling for me to leave, I left and will never again donate or shop at this store.

I saw a face mask That I wanted, it have been there at karm for few months it had dates on it for price drop, will it drop down form $99. To $24. All prices was mark out put the $24. Will the cashier was trying to change me $60. For it I said no, it says $24. I ask for the manger the manger came out with a smart attitude and say it was $60. I ask her look at the price mark on it then she said some one made a mistake by marking out the price, it still have 4 days tell it be that price she said no with a bad attitude and put it back in the case , it's funny that we donate things to karms and that treat use the way, it's all about the money not helping people like they claim, you need to see the owner home ,To me it's, bigger then the'white house ,karms pocket 95% of the money and not helping people like they claim they do,

Once saw them selling an empty Ragu jar for $3. You can get a brand new one with food inside for less than that.

One of the single worst working experiences I have had in my 30 years of working. Workers are expendable tools, not people. Corporate cares about store performance, but underpays the people actually generating income. Christian in name only, not in deed.

I have visited numerous karms stores . There prices are way to high for used items . 14.00 dollars for a used tee shirt is ridiculous when you can get it new for 7 . It's not Macy's it's a thrift store
