I typically don’t leave reviews at all. But after having a terrible experience with the first pair of surgeons at another institution that I won’t name, I came here for a second opinion. I am 28 with stage three breast cancer and all I needed was to know what my options were and to have a dr that was going to do what they could to give me as normal of a life as I could have as young as I am knowing I had to have a double mastectomy. Dr. Llyod will FOREVER be the Dr. that I think of when I think of who got me through this horrific situation. She set it straight with me, she made a plan with me, she stuck to her word and when we had to change plans she kept me informed and I knew EXACTLY what was going on, for most people that may not be comforting but for me I needed it. She set me up with an amazing plastic surgeon who has given me everything I wanted and more. They definitely went above and beyond for me. Everyone in this entire office is kind and refreshing, they listen and they consider your feelings and best interest at every turn. If you’re struggling with finding surgeons, as someone who shopped around for surgeons, go here, you don’t need to waste your time anywhere else. She is in the breast center but it is located next to the hospital.

UTMC is a fabulous healthcare facility! They saved several family members in addition to myself and numerous friends from critical illness that could have had dire consequences if not for the excellent providers and staff. This is where you want to go for the Best of the best! The cancer center (Dr David Aljadir) is fabulous, the nursing care on 5 West is stellar (Marissa Schultz, manager), Ortho surgeon Dr William Oros, colorectal surgeon Dr Mark Casillas are highly recommended. Dr Ronald Hamrick is a wonderful, skillful dermatologist who takes the time to LISTEN to his patients. The UTMC Alcoa Hwy CT department is exemplary. Dr Denise Rivers is THE nephrologist you want. Dr Zachary Marlette is a caring, available, skilled primary care physician with Faculty Internal Medicine. Dr Anthony Villarossa is a caring, thorough cardiologist.

I went to UT walk in clinic on Dec. 18 with shortness of breath. They sent me straight to UT emergency room. The clinic had called ahead and the emergency room staff was on me the minute we walked in. In a whirl of activity I had xrays, CT scan, covid tests, flu tests, electrocardiogram, hooked up to oxygen and probably more things than I can even remember.Although the emergency room was full I was taken straight back and treated as though I was their only patient. I was told that I had Type A flu and double pneumonia and I would be admitted. I never had to ask for anything because they were in my room every few minutes checking on me.A room became available on the 6th floor and I was taken there early in the morning of the 19th.I can't say enough about the nurses on the 6th floor. Day and night nurses were absolutely terrific going above and beyond to make me comfortable.I stayed on the 6th floor until Christmas Eve when I was released. If you ever have to go in the hospital UT Medical center is one of the best hospitals I have ever had to deal with. From the doctor that made rounds every morning to the housekeeping staff UT Medical is the place you would want to be if you are sick.I want to thank all that had a hand in getting me on my feet again.

Family member admitted and staff have been very informative, cooperative, super friendly and attentive. Love how they are trying to get to the root of the issue. Not just throwing different things at her to see if it helps. Overall hospital and staff have been amazing.

I must express how excellent the staff were in labor and delivery November 18,2023. The experience they gave me was something I had never had when delivering my children. I was treated like an actual human being and not just another patient. Those ladies was absolutely wonderful and attentive to my every need. My labor was very very difficult and everyone even the anesthesiologist was supportive every single step of the way. During this difficult labor I had found out that my grandfather had passed away and due to the attentive support and care received during that time I literally was able to keep pushing through labor stress free for the sake of my daughter Ohana. So I just really want to say THANK YOU UT for everything and thanks to every staff member in labor and delivery for staying on the job especially while my daughter and I were having the most what could have been life threatening complications. Thank you all so much!

Mike's Doctor sent him to the ER for test. We came in got checked in. Hours passed nothing. I explained to them he is a diabetic and transplant patient who has had no food no meds for over 12 hours. Still left us setting, did not care for him at all. A dog would have received better treatment. Do not go to the UT ER Center they do not care for you at all. Patients do not matter I ask for food he was denied and we are locked in the ER and can only go out into the parking garage to get food.
