KC, Anthony, and Brandon L. did a great job moving my two bedroom apartment! They showed up on time and worked very efficiently while taking great care of my items, and they made the move fun. I would highly recommend Fox Moving.

Terrible experience. I provided a time to meet me at the house to start the move- they were 20 mins early and not there yet. I arrived 5 mins after the scheduled time but my wife was there and requested that they move the items on the list and nothing else. They stated that some items were not on the list. I called the estimator who advised that they were missing a page but it shouldn't matter. They estimated a hourly rate with one truck and less than an entire day to move. Movers arrived and advised two trucks needed and at least 10 hours and double the original cost. Laborers advised this happens all the time and office person works on commission and they know you are stuck. They would not provide the list of items that they quoted for one truck and 5-6 hours. When I requested the list of items that were on the list that the senior estimator took, they would not provide the list- this to me was a red flag that they would claim that I added something to be moved that was not on the list. When we called told, well you are paying by the hour and two hour driving time back and forth for two trips. After a long phone battle the workers placed everything from the truck into our garage and left. Most likely they will try and say that items were not on the list and that I added items- this is not true and just shows they are trying to cover their back. There is no way items not supposedly not on the list would take a full 2nd truck or return trip by the same truck. It's also ironic that the employees on the truck stated that the estimator and inside sales person a female was shady and only worried about having a higher price since she works on commission. I have learned later that this business has a history of unethical pricing estimates and know that they have it a vulnerable spot on the day that you are suppose to move. Fortunately we used a U Haul and hired labor workers directly through U Haul and they did a fantastic job. Very shady business. BUYER BEWARE!!!!! A Better Business Bureau complaint is my next path along with possible legal action. I 'm sure they will try and push the blame to the customer and claim no fault of theirs. I also did not become belligerent but I was very unhappy with the attitude of the inside sales female who just kept stating you are paying by the hour and that is what you elected to do.

Mickey and Brandon did an excellent job of moving mother-in-law to senior care center. They were very efficient, very pleasant even arriving ahead of schedule to start our day off in a positive manner. Not one negative, would definitely urge anyone who needs help with moving to ask for them at Fox Moving & Storage of East Tennessee. Very impressed with this company and their employees.

IN RESPONSE: If we are responsible, then why did the movers wrap some items and not others? Why didn't the movers point out that they were going to place items on table tops and they would be ruined? Excuses instead of apologies says a LOT. Wow.
REVIEW REWRITE: We hired this company to load our trailer that would be traveling 2500 miles across the country to our destination. I was told the movers would wrap our furniture so it would travel safely and be undamaged. Some items were wrapped, while others were not for some reason. If the customer is responsible for wrapping, why did the movers wrap SOME items (and poorly at that) instead of NONE?
Sadly we had a LOT of damage as these PROFESSIONAL movers placed boxes on top of bare table tops which got scratched up and ruined. Even if the customer is responsible for wrapping items for safety, shouldn't the movers at least warn us that they are going to place items on table tops and that these items will most likely be ruined during the long journey?
Also, heavier boxes placed on top of lighter boxes which were smashed and destroyed, and an inability to pack all of our items into the space. We had four 8' x 4' floor mats that could have easily been laid on the floor of the trailer and then boxes and furniture placed on top, but we had to leave them behind because the movers didn't do this.
We thought we hired movers we could trust to load the trailer so our items would be safe traveling across the country, which these movers KNEW in advance. The should know better. Unfortunately, this was not the case.
They get an extra star for sending extra movers at no extra cost, but that's it.
One word: Disappointed.

Extremely friendly and went above and beyond. It was a pretty big job and they got it done in even less time than we had anticipated. Even though it was a hot day and we had a lot of heavy things, they all had a great attitude. I would definitely recommend Fox Moving and Storage. Ask for Mickey, Calvin, and Brandon! They won’t let you down.

Best movers, EVER!!!! I was really worried about my move because I'd never moved by myself. The price was perfect. The guys were professional and all around awesome. This move was a really big deal for me and I was worried that I would not be able to pull it off. Ya know what? I didn't have to. THESE GUYS MADE IT SEAMLESS! Thank you!

KC, Rob, and Brandon L. had my house emptied in a hour, being extra careful with the more fragile items and packing them in my car. They unloaded quickly, and all I had to do was point to where I wanted everything. Easiest, quickest move ever, nothing broken or damaged.

KC, Rob and Ant helped me move last Wednesday and it honestly couldn’t have gone any better. They arrived early and had all the stuff from my house and storage unit to the new house in under 3 hours. Originally I was going to use College Hunks for my move, but got a quote from Fox and Jose was relentless when it came to getting my business. They were a bit more expensive than just about everybody else but now I know why, and it’s because they are better than everybody else. It’s cool too becayse they are local unlike just about every other moving service. When it’s time to move again I’ll be giving Fox another call for sure.

The ABSOLUTE WORST MOVING COMPANY EVER! They didn’t do half of what they were asked and then, they left some of our things on their truck (now we can’t find our shelves to our fireplace /tv stand) We paid almost $700 for their useless services. I cannot urge you enough to RUN AS FAR AWAY FROM THESE CLOWNS AS POSSIBLE!
