I shop at this food city often. I took my two neices and went to McDonald's for breakfast and then I went to food city to pick up a few things that I needed. I only needed to use about 30 dollars on one card so I rang up the 30 dollars and paid for what rang up to be thirty dollars. I continued on ringing up the rest of the groceries on the cart when the person running g the self check out came over and was like I don't have but 8 items showing on my end and there is clearly more then 8 items in these bags. I told her I had a card I only wanted to put thirty dollars on so that was why she only was seeing 8 items. The other stuff was paid for. Then she was like where is the receipt so I pulled the receipt and gave it to her. Then she was like next time you need to put the stuff that's paid for in a different buggy so we know what's what. Okay, first off I had my 2 and 3 year old neices in the buggy I can just walk off and get another buggy. 2nd I don't appreciate her embarrassing me in front of all those people because she pretty much made me out like I was stealing and I was clearly not I had receipts for everything. I am the person that if I go out to the vehicle and find I missed paying for something I am going back in to pay for it. BOTTOM LINE YOU DONT ACCUSE SOMEONE OF STEALING AND YOU SPECIALLY DONT EMBARASS THEM IN FRONT OF OTHERS WHEN THEY ARE NOT DOING ANYRHING WRONG. Clerk on the receipt says Sco31. I will not be back chapman highway food city. I am not a their and I don't like being accused. Not good for business. NOT HAPPY!!!!!

Nice store with a good selection. The entrance is uninviting with no clear direction as where to go. The check stands are right there front and center without a clear path to get into the store. We clearly went the wrong way as I had to squeeze through the only pathway I saw, while my husband cut through the self checkout area going the wrong way. The prices were good and we didn't need a Sherpa to find the way out.
