Very pleased with Dr. Killey and his staff. Dr. Killey takes plenty of time to discuss any concerns and formulate a plan to address any issues. He's very good with my dog and easy to talk to. The staff is equally good, always pleasant and professional. Dogwood seems to really care about the animals, which is a nice change from some of the "super sized" vet practices that treat animals and their people like a number. Edit to add: I've been taking my dog here for about a 1 1/2 years and I'm still so pleased with them. Love Dogwood Animal Hospital. They are thorough, personable, and reasonably priced. Dr. Killey is great, he covers all the bases and discusses everything in detail. The staff is wonderful and the groomer does a great job also. So glad I started bringing my dog here. I would recommend them to anyone.

So here is my story, I have 2 chis, we have been coming here for a few years now and I have to say what an amazing place, the staff are without a doubt very compassionate and friendly and understanding, I just lost 1 of my babies a week ago and was so very painful but the staff sent flowers to us and when we decided to have pheobie cremated they were so sensitive to us, but the whole process they made us feel ok, and they did an amazing job with cremation the urn was a tree of life and the cards with her name on it, just done so beautifully, so Thank you to all the vets and staff that have been there for us through this most painful process, I will never take my babies anywhere else, very clean and they are respectful to everyone. I would highly recommend them to anyone and everybody.

After years I finally found a veterinarian that I feel I can trust. Knowledgeable, compassionate and incorporates common sense in their decision making. Have used multiple Drs. at Dogwood Animal Hospital and can comfortably give them a thumbs up!

Good place to bring your pets. The only down points are that when you call the front desk, they will hang up on you sometimes.

Very caring people there so far. They took care of my kitty shoo shoo, who needed a shave badly, poor guy. He came home a happy boy! Thanks guys! Just wish it wasn't so spendy to have Healthcare for your furbaby.

I switched to Dogwood Animal Hospital because I simply could not afford the quoted price for a necessary procedure for my cat at my original vet. Dogwood has been nothing but kind, easygoing, reasonably priced, and with great availability should an emergency come up. They are the best vets in the area.

We are new to Dogwood Animal Hospital, having only a few visits under our belt. The number one thing we look for with any vet is that they *show* love and care for our pets--remembering their name, exhibiting excitement to see them again, treating the pet as a living, breathing member of our family and not merely an item of business transaction. These are non-negotiables. And as you can see by my 5-star rating, Dogwood Animal Hospital has lived up to and exceeded our expectation in this area. From those working at the front desk to the vets, everyone has been wonderful. Couldn't ask for more!

We have had years of satisfactory pet maintenance from Dogwood Animal Hospital. When we recently were faced with ending our beloved dog Bella’s life their care for us and our pet was truly superb.
Dr. Killey was clear, calm, and compassionate in discussing Bella’s condition, focusing on her (and our) quality of life. He laid out options and expectations, but scrupulously avoided recommending any course of action until we made the decision to put the dog down. Only then did he say that he thought we were doing the right thing.
The end was handled quickly and efficiently. Bella’s last conscious moments were of her family petting and loving on her. As we are rather too old to dig a dog-sized hole, the Hospital arranged for cremation of her remains.
The following week Dogwood Animal Hospital had a lovely bouquet delivered in Bella’s memory.
