Although it was muddy from rainfall and vegetation is scarce during Winter months, we've hiked here several times and enjoy the views and simplicity of this section. The only lake access is to the right and just downhill from the trailhead. This area has a small, stagnant body of water which appears to be a rain filled quarry from many years back. There's only 1.8 miles of trail in this west section.

Lakeside Stables has been our barn family for 4 years. It started as a riding lesson for my daughter as a Christmas present. Fast forward 4 years, my kids now attend every rodeo camp offered in the summer and every Tri-C Youth Rodeo that we can during rodeo season. My kids have the best role models at Lakeside. We now own two horses and value our relationships with everyone there. I'm truly thankful for the blessings that this family and barn crew bring to us.

Our whole family LOVES this place! The horses are beautiful and the entire property is beautifully kept. The fact that it has been in the same family since 1799 is such an accomplishment too! Thank you Lakeside Stables and Natalie Fletcher for sharing your slice of heaven.

Nice flowing trail loop, great for easy MTB ride or trail run. Distance is low at 1.5 miles, but future addition to help. Water access is available for dogs to swim.
