“Spending a few days in Knoxville for the first time and ijams was probably one of the most recommended activities. It did not disappoint. SO many trails. Very nice views of the Tennessee River and Mead Quarry Lake. Multiple places to put in boats. Some cool animal exhibits at the visitor center. People were very helpful in advising which trails to take. Definitely check it out if you're looking for an outdoor activity in the Knoxville area.”

Such an amazing group to be associated with and Julie goes out of her way to make sure they are able to support all business members that are involved. Members support and help each other whenever they can. Great organization that thrives from excellent leadership and support. If you're business is not a member, I highly recommend joining!!!!”

“Exceptional service. Beautiful dining room. Terrific food. Did I mention exceptional service? Wife and I came for dinner. Everything about it was terrific. This is the second time here. Last time we had a party for 30 in a private room. Both times food and service were outstanding. I don't know why more people don't talk about this place.”

“Not the nicest equipment but it gets the job done for a downtown gym. My main gripe is they got rid of the towel service back when COVID hit but never restored it which is a huge pain and seems a little ridiculous. Only gym I've been to outside of COVID that didn't offer towel service.”

“I was at the RMD house for the first time for my daughter and it was awesome. The only thing that was a little upsetting was the playground had toy cars with water in them that needed dumping and the other side was locked. But we did arrive at 6 pm so that's understood for the second playground to be locked up.”

“I have been by this location several times in the past when I visited Knoxville but never stopped. Today I decided I was going to stop and check it out and I am glad that I did. Very interesting and informative time. This location would take you back in time when life was much simpler, but yet much harder.”

“There's really no reason to buy a puppy from a pet store when there are lots of sweet dogs to adopt from shelters. The Humane Society in Knoxville is full of passionate people who really care about the animals and can provide personal recommendations and advice. There are new animals every week so you can visit multiple times and observe the animals before making a commitment. I'm very thankful I found this place and hope that you will find a pet here.”

“I, unfortunately, did not really feel that comfortable or safe when I visited. I don't know if that's more on me or I was just not there at a good time. That said, while there, I kinda had an odd thought that maybe some space could be set up for people in the local LGBT+ community to sell their creative projects - from sewing, woodwork, and millinery (hat designs)...to books, art, and maybe music.”

“Very clean, smaller goodwill store. Customer service is great. Because of the smaller location, there is not as much variety as other locations. Merchandise is overall good quality if you know what to look for.”

“I would certainly recommend the salvation army to anyone who is homeless and trying to improve your situation. There is a lengthy amount of paperwork to fill out at first. They have lots of rules you must obey. Random Alcohol and drug testing. Curfew hours. A low tolerance for disobedience to their rules. The facility itself is quite nice. Lunch and dinner are provide free and the food is good. Guests are required to do daily housekeeping chores. Upon acceptance, they will give you up to 60 days emergency shelter free if charge. After that there is possiblity if extended stay by paying rent(at counselors disgression). They will provide some help and support in getting treatment for addictions and finding work. You are expected to look for and find work and make progress toward becoming independent again. It's not a permanent residence institution, but more of a transitional resource for those who are trying to improve their lives. On the down side of things, the place is currently at capacity at the time of my writing this. They are under staffed and strained to handle the job load. Good luck trying to get anyone to answer the phone. The employees I've met are caring people tho who will try to help if play straight with them. I've been is several shelters this past year and this is by far the best of them all.”

“The building itself seemed to be a bit run down; definitely could use some renovation.

The center seems to offer lots of various assistance and programs.

Staff seemed to be friendly.”

“I had not visited this store in years! It use to feel dark and dirty and was always a mess. Yesterday I was at the shopping center and decided to try again. I was so glad I did! The store was clean, welcoming, bright and nice to shop in. The store worker mentioned to me that they desperately need men's clothing. If you need to clean your closets, donate to these people.”
