Recently moved back here from Alabama and I was desperately looking for a Vet. Central Veterinary Hospital was recommended and I could not be happier. Dr. keele was outstanding, attentive, and seemed genuinely concerned with the health and welfare of my girls! Not to mention the staff were friendly and helpful! The facility is extremely clean and the prices won’t break the bank! I have found a new Vet! Thank you DR. Keele and staff so much and I will see you next time!

I want to thank Dr. Keele and the staff at your Northshore location for their compassion and care. Our sweet 15 year old, Bailey, crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday. She started coming to your downtown location the day I adopted her in 2006 as a puppy and we’ve been back every year since. Although it’s not a day we looked forward to, your staff was very patient, kind and caring as we said our goodbyes. I’d also like to thank the receptionist at your downtown location who answered my call at 7:00 am yesterday (7/29). She was thoughtful, thorough and very comforting in a time of need. We’ve seen Dr. Keele for many years now and she was able to get us in to see him immediately. Thank you all for being the best!

I have 3 dogs, one of them is a fear reactive/aggressive giant breed puppy. I rescued him at the beginning of the pandemic and this office has helped me every step of the way to rehabilitate him to where he can learn to be a happy dog. They’ve watched him make progress and reassured me when he’s regressed. The staff here love him and have been so patient with him. They understand how important it is to him to bond with him to make him feel safe. I am so thankful for everything Central Vet has done for my pack but especially the care they’ve taken with this guy. I can’t imagine ever using another vets office and recommend them to everyone in my neighborhood. Give them a shot, I promise you’ll love it there!

New to Tennessee, we recently experienced our first trip to the Central Veterinary Hospital in Downtown Knoxville. Due to COVID19 we were asked to wait in our vehicle. We were greeted with a delightful smile and courteous staff who thoughtfully handled our dog. The Vet was thorough and shared with us that our Black Lab, Sissy, never even flinched. It was a great visit. Highly recommend!

I moved here right before the pandemic and my cat was diagnosed w hyperthyroid by this vet. They have been super helpful even through all these changes. They are dealing w the social distancing well. I appreciate how responsive they are and how simple it is to get my cat's daily meds. They call and discuss bloodwork quickly and efficiently. Cost-wise they're excellent. This is a very competitive pricing. I wish they would discuss prices prior to billing but that is my only suggestion.

Recently moved here from Texas, I was worried about finding a good vet for my 2 dogs. Dayla was having the runs and I found this place very near my home. Scheduling the appointment was easy, they responded to my request the same evening and we I dropped her off the following morning. These people are on top of it! They communicated with me via text because I was in class. The Dr. was really great, the bill was very reasonable, and entire process was very efficient. I'm very lucky I picked Central for my animal needs moving forward.

I want to share what absolute angels the staff at Central Vet are. My girl got sick back in November 2019. We had moved earlier in the year and needed a new vet. They got us worked in quickly and we were met with kindness and love from the moment we walked in the door. After several tests, we found out our little one wasn’t just sick, she was in kidney failure. We worked out a plan and started treatment. They are excellent and so kind. The doctor called me to tell me the surgery went great. My dog is extremely scared of any vet but they are so patient with him. Don’t listen to other reviews. They are really great! They also saved my beagle’s life years ago when he had a rare form of worms in his nasal cavity. Cured my beagle and he loved to be 16 1/2 years old! Central Vet is really really good and excellent veterinarian.

Everyone was so sweet and gentle with my new puppy and everything was very clean. Dr. Ferrell stood and talked to me and answered all of my questions and I never felt like he was in a hurry to get out of the room. I was super surprised by the low cost of the visit when I went to check out.
