I went in the other day hoping to get at least $100 if not a little more than that by selling my iPad 9th Gen. It is in great condition with maybe a couple light scratches on the screen. They claimed that it was selling for $149 on EBAY, so they could only give me $70. I ended up forgetting my charger, so they wouldn't take it.
When I got out of the building, I looked up the prices on ebay and discovered that the IPad they were looking at had a decent sized crack close to the center of the screen. All of the other IPad 9th Gen in a similar condition to mine were selling for over $200. Needless to say, if I had not forgotten to bring my charger, I would have been ripped off. I would definitely recommend staying away.

I was sold a gold pendent that was marked as 14k genuine diamonds. Only to find out at a different location, that it is merely 10k with cubic zirconia stones.. I called the manager and she only offered to buy it back for a fraction of what I paid. said "we're only human, I said that's no excuse. She said it is an excuse".

I was a bit worried after reading the bad reviews but it was the closest and I needed gas in the worst way. I made the right decision. The young lady that waited on me was super, very friendly and explained the options and what I could expect. From the nice greeting to my big thank you, great experience.
Also, I couldnt help but notice the awesome selection of jewelry there too. I will be back.

Doesn’t buy anything. The worst. They just said, I don’t know. I brought coins that I got 2500 for and just said uhh I don’t know. You’re not a pawn shop so stop. Don’t say we buy everything just to turn down value.

Terrible. If you have a disabled family member who doesn’t leave the house and wants to sell some of their property don’t go in telling them that they just assume you’re a thief. Thanks for nothing Jonathan and cash pawn America.

Cannot pay over the phone. Poor customer service. No appeal process or upper management to file complaint. Will try Better Business Bureau. Suggest you do the same.

I pulled into an empty parking lot at this location and walked inside. I was not greeted by the man or woman working at the time. Two separate sets of customers who came in after me were helped before I was even acknowledged. I was the only “different” looking person there at the time. 0 stars if it were possible.

GET A WARRANTY IF YOU WANT YOUR MONEY BACK ON ELECTRONICS THEY WILL ASK YOU IF YOU EANT ONE BUT DONT SAY THAY YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED THAT TO GET A RETURN IM OUT 400 dollars on a ps5 that I now have to spend another 230 because they suck thanks cash America you’re awesome!!!!!!!! *****UPDATE I FOUND OUT THEY DONT EXPLAIN IT ON PURPOSE!!!!!!******* that was from the Alcoa location so keep that in mind ASK YOUR QUESTIONS BUT ILL NEVER COME TO ANY OF THESE PLACES AGAIN THEYRE GREEDY FOR MONEY AND THEY DO NOT CAR ABOUT THEYRE CUSTOMERS JUST THEMSELVES!!!!! I like pawn shops as much as the next guy, but I can guarantee that I will never use this pawn shop on Kingston pike again. I put an item in layaway, had it all but paid off, the item was $40 I paid it down to like $8-10, just had to get time to get in there, but one of the employees at the store misinformed me of how much time I had left on the layaway, when I did get time to come and get it, they informed it pulled…..BEFORE THE GUY EVEN CALLED ME, so how did the guy tell me I had time left on it? So I went to the store to see what we could work out, hoping they could work something out. I was met with “well we could slightly discount a controller for you if you want, but that moneys gone.” So I paid $30/35 on said controller, and they gave me $15 in store credit. So they kept $15 and couldn’t work out a deal. If y’all wanna use a good pawn shop, go to the cash America on chapman hwy or western avenue or Maryville, they’ll work with you and they have great staff. I would not recommend going to the one on Kingston pike. This isn’t the first time I’ve had an issue here.
