I've been to this branch twice while in the process of probating a complex and frustrating estate. Both times I received exceptional customer service from LeShaun. So much of this probate process has been difficult and unclear to me so I really appreciate her kindness and the time she took to listen and understand what was needed.

I have had an account with this branch since about 2017. I've used it much over the years, however in recent months have not used it as much. Their automated system decided to close my account with out sending any notice, in the mail or email. This was frustrating because I was about to use the account for a transaction. I talked to Dylan on the phone and he walked me through what happened. 5/5 for customer service from Dylan but the online banking service closing my account without asking was very sketchy and reflects poorly on Truist. Dylan is the only reason I'm giving a 2/5 instead of a 1/5.

Went in here almost a year ago for help with a bill. Continued to go in a few more times about a bill. They couldn't even figure out how to find it first. After that asked about direct deposit and for months after this, it still never got set up correctly. I never had anyone help me or explain anything to me. Hell, they acted confused as well. I don't understand why everyone who works for Truist is incompetent. This bank is a scam. They will not work with you, they will not help the customer. They will not explain things to someone who clearly isn't understanding their bill and account. They make you feel stupid.I would never ever recommend this bank for anything.

Ever once in a while if you go there in person you can get good customer service. The majority of the time though, you don't, and you never do it you try to contact the bank any way other than in person. A deposit didn't go through, and THEY DIDN'T EVEN TELL ME. I saw that it originally deposited and thought that was that. I just happened to be looking at something else in my account history when I saw that it had been taken back out of my account. How they can justify not telling someone when their deposit doesn't go through is beyond me. When I asked them about it, they didn't look at the check, they didn't even pull up my account. They just told me to call the person who wrote the check because there must've not been enough money in their account. It was from my MORTGAGE COMPANY. There is no way our mortgage company didn't have $200 in their bank account. Truist is a terrible bank to have. I recommend avoiding it.

Corporate led buffoons. Just wanted to open a savings account but they required not only all of the identification I brought, but also wanted to run my credit (didn't say that was a requirement anywhere on their website). I told the manager that I brought all the required information and I did not understand why they needed to run my credit for a savings account. He stated that it was policy and either I unfreeze my credit reports and allowed them to run me through Experian or I could not open the account. Went down the street and opened a savings account with no problems at a local bank. If you want any kind of real service, I suggest you bank local.

If you were to hand your money over to a complete stranger they would probably do a better job of protecting your money than SunTrust. First off, they don't allow you to dispute transactions. One time I made an online purchase from a site I hadn't used before. It was a one-time transaction but the merchant continued to charge my account more times and on different dates beyond that without permission. The only option SunTrust gave me was to lock my card permanently. Luckily I was able to contact a decent human at the company and have my card info deleted on their end. If they had been complete theives they could've drained me for every dollar, and if SunTrust did anything at all it would be adding a $37 overdraft fee for each time they ran the card. If a few transactions made elsewhere 5 days before were still processing, those would overdraft as well in that situation. The order in which they are supposed to process your transactions is explained on their site and pamphlet, but they don't always follow it. I've gone over it with tellers and managers at multiple branches and many times over the phone. Even when they admit there is a mistake they don't fix it. The merger won't change things either. Considering how BB&T charges $8 to cash their own checks if you don't have an account with them, I expect Truist will be one of the most crooked and greedy banks in the country.

They are very nice and helpful here. The only drawback is it's in an office tower with a parking garage. There isn't a drive through. But it is a spectacular bank.
