Dr. Patel extracted my fractured tooth effectively. He and his assistant were very attentive and careful that I should feel no pain. I am most grateful for their abilities and consideration.

The best experience at a dental appointment that I personally have ever had. The staff was great and very understanding. They made me feel so relaxed. And Dr. Patel… you sir, ROCK! Thank you all for making my visit reassuringly easy.

Dr. Patel is fantastic. During my implant process he was very gentle, no pain and explained every step. The entire staff is always very friendly and always smiling and wanting to make sure that you are taken care of. Dr. Patel always followed up with me after each visit to make sure that I was feeling ok. Beat dentist in Knoxville!

Everyone nice. Just surprised between the different prices from other places. Seems like if you have insurance all dental places should be the same. The criteria should be the same for all insurance clients but I’m going back for follow up appointmentsWe will see

I had a 7:30 AM appt. today and was not taken back until 7:52. Once I was finally taken back I was told that I was getting a $400 gingivitis treatment that I never agreed to. I said no, I am here for a routine 6 month cleaning. The dental hygienist went to get the office manager and she came to tell me that the gingivitis is a known diagnosis they can’t not treat it. I said I was told I had the option to get the treatment done and I decided not to, that’s how I already know what the price of it is. I just want a regular cleaning I’ve already been waiting since 7:30 AM & I have to work today. This statement was completely ignored. They were not mindful or respectful of my time. I was done being yelled at by the office manager so I turned around the the chair and I said if getting the gingivitis treatment is the only way you’re going to do my dental cleaning I guess my hands are tied but it feels like it’s just a way to make extra money off me. She then snapped her fingers at me, forced me to get up, and said, “We don’t act like that here.” I was then escorted to the front of the building like she was security. I said who are you? The office manager? I said I want to speak to your boss. I don’t care if I call them, email them, have to wait to be called back. She refused to give me ANY contact information and quickly changed her tone. She said, all I want to do is help you. Can you please sit down and let me explain this? I agreed to sit down and review the gingivitis treatment. Low and behold it was $400. How would I have known that? They did not believe me that I was already quoted for that treatment and declined. I said no I am going to leave still. I was embarrassed, degraded, frustrated. And truly felt like I was being treated like a criminal and being escorted out. A patient has EVERY right to advocate for themself and ask questions. I should be able to get a routine dental cleaning without paying an extra $400 gingivitis treatment that I have never required in the past. I cannot believe I was treated that way by their office manager. I hope & pray there are cameras in the Kingston Pike office. If there’s audio, even better.

My fiancé and I went to aspen dental September 21. We went there hoping for a teeth cleaning but didn’t get one. Got x-Rays done and my fiancé was told he had stage 3 of periodontal disease and I had stage 1. He was quoted 10,000 and I was quoted 1,000 for treatment. When asked for a teeth cleaning they refused because they had “diagnosed” us with that disease. My fiancé got a 2 opinion from Dr. T.J Fowler and turns out he does not have the disease and doesn’t need treatment. Wouldn’t recommend this place AT ALL. Seems like a money scam

Stay away at all costs. Showed up to my appointment for tooth pain only to be told that they didn’t have me in the system (even though I had received email confirmation saying my appointment was “all set”) due to glitch in the system. Was told the best they could do was a limited exam and that I’d need to make another appointment to actually get it resolved.I don’t have unlimited time off from work, so disrespecting your patients’ time that they do take off to make the appointment leaves a pretty sour taste in my mouth.Called Admiral Dentistry in Farragut and they were able to get me an appointment the next day. That’s how you actually take care of a patient that’s in pain.EDIT: Admiral Dentistry called me back and got me in TODAY. What a contrast in customer service between the two offices

The staff was great and very nice. I had quite a few things to take care of, one of which was two crowns for two teeth that were cracked in half. Now going into this, I am trusting professionals recommendations on what would be the best options for me. I did not have any pain in either of those cracked teeth, nor did I need fillings, but I figured I would get all the work done they recommended. The first Dr. I had was great, no pain with the local anesthesia or the one that was put in my gums. Great technique. Had my first crown put on and done no problem. Second crown, we ran into an issue with it not fitting. The same Dr. said the company who made the crown said to file already nub of a tooth down even more to make it fit. That seemed odd to me, but ok. So he shaved it down even more, honestly to almost nothing. I now have had severe pain in that same tooth since the crown was put on. I can't chew on that side, nor can I drink anything remotely hot or cold unless through a straw ( so I can block that tooth with my tongue). If anything touches it, I am in severe pain. I know sensitivity with crowns will occur as they told me, but this pain in unbearable. I went in to have it looked at and a different Dr. who also did my fillings, and not mention put me in extreme pain while giving me the numbing shot in my gums shaved the crown down as I was biting too hard on it and it went too far up or down, I can't recall exactly. I was also complaining about severe jaw pain since having the crown put on initially, and nothing was said about it really. They acted as if my pain was not as severe, saying my scans looked normal and nothing seemed to be wrong. Now, they did give me a referral to an endodontist for a root canal if needed. He said give it two weeks to see if the pain subsides or lessens. Well, it hasn't. It doesn't hurt quite as bad to bite down, but still enough to where I can't chew most things on that side. The pain in my jaw has gotten worse, even since that visit, and have made an appt. for the root canal which I will be insisting on. Either that or I want my tooth pulled. I paid a lot of money in full to have all of this taken care of.. I honestly wish I never even went to them. I was in no pain previously, and I now live on Ibuprofen or Aspirin, which is now starting to not work. Like I said, the staff was nice and caring, but at the end of the day, I feel they recommended things be done that weren't a necessity at the time, and seemed to brush my pain off as if it's normal. My mother in-law paid $1,300 for a root canal with insurance, and now I fear I will have to pay a hefty price as well to fix a problem someone else caused. Sorry, but I will not be going back to Aspen Dental.

Very unprofessional and don’t keep care plans updated, Always reschedule appointments with the wrong service needed without notifying you of the changes. I asked the front desk clerk why my care plan changed without my knowledge she stormed out the room and didn’t answer my question, I changed my Dental office, it took 2 years to get filling that still hasn’t been done.. This office is very very unprofessional!

This was my first time at Aspen Dental. But I decided to schedule an appointment at this location out of convenience. I show up to the appointment and I was told I needed fillings for multiple cavities. My senses went off as I had no pain or anything to support having any cavities prior to the appointment. At the end of the appointment, they quoted me a marked-up price of what a filling would be, so I decided to not reschedule and will not be coming back. Regardless, I did decide to get a second opinion and I was fine. Needless to say, I was dissatisfied. The moral conduct at Aspen Dental needs attention.

Regardless of the negative reviews before me I chose to trust Aspen with my denture journey and I’m extremely happy I did! From the consultation, to the extractions, to adjustments I have had such a positive experience with them. The oral surgeon and his nurses made me feel extremely comfortable and didn’t judge me, and I’ve had to have several adjustments since which a nurse with black hair has done for me every time ( I wish I knew her name) and she has been so kind and patient with the process. They are doing everything they can to be sure I get my dream smile that also function well and I’m so grateful thank you all!

The Kingston Pike office in Knoxville, Tn is refusing to honor the terms of the seven year warranty on the Comfilytes. A tooth fell out while eating a sandwich. When called to get it fixed I was informed that "about a year ago" this office changed their policy and now requires a dental exam costing $230 if it has been more than a year since they have examined the patient. This was not the deal that was signed for in 2017. It was not required when the warranty was used once before (more than one year after the exam). This feels like a price gouging and warranty breaching abuse of power. I called another office to see if they could help. They said they do not charge to honor the warranty, but would have to have an exam to be established as a patient in their office. The Aspen Dental offices are independently owned. Corporate can not help. I would strongly advise using a different location in this area. Not only is a very expensive exam required to get a tooth glued back in, this greatly drags out the length of time that a patient has to go without their dentures.
