My favorite Aquarium store around. They quarantine their fish before selling them so they are healthy and eating when you get them home. Staff members are knowledgeable and friendly and familiar. They often time have things priced better than the big box store on supplies.

This is a good store with a decent selection of fish, and excellent selection of dry goods. They carry both fresh and saltwater livestock. Their fish are not the cheapest in the area, but generally are nice looking and healthy specimens. Corals, on the other hand are a different story. VERY limited selection and grossly overpriced. They do have an incredible selection of freshwater fish and plants, with much better prices. They have, by far, the best selection of "nano" fish in the area if you're looking to stock a small tank- lots of species that you won't find elsewhere. Most of the staff is fairly knowledgeable about things, and as a plus they are not at all pushy almost to the point that you feel ignored. They rarely approach you and ask if you need help- there is a dry erase board on the wall that you put your name on to get assistance. It makes a lot on sense on weekends when there are dozens of customers waiting, but seems awkward and odd when you're the only one there!

Your staff is rude and do not engage with customers even if they talk to them first. My friend and I came in the other day because I needed new fish for my set up. My guppies were second generation and I needed new fins in the water. I also wanted some plants and 2 heaters. But we were completely ignored by your people even though we spoke to them first. The lady feeding the fish my friend spoke to her and she said nothing back. I said something to her also and nothing. I also said something to a guy working there and again nothing. We just went to a regular pet store and spent my money there.

Friendly staff and a great selection of fish and plants. The only reason I docked a star was for the bladder snails that came with the plants. I'm not really upset about it though. It's just a part of the hobby and I kind of expected it to happen.

Bought 4 fish from them. Followed the directions of their staff and 2 friends who have separately had big aquariums and many fish for years. Not only did all the fish die but they also spread some disease to my other fish. Literally killed off my whole tank in less than a week. Wouldn’t recommend this place.Editing to add: I had my other fish (bought elsewhere) for over a year before this happened.

I am an experienced aquarist currently with 6 freshwater tanks. I've done business a few times over the years with Aquarium. Their saltwater animals may be healthier, but as for freshwater, it's almost as bad as going to the big box stores, but at 2-3 times the price. I've wanted to love this place, but since covid the selection's gone down, prices up, and with my recent purchase from here I lost half of the 10 fish I bought to a gill parasite during quarantine. Not going back, sadly. They have a nice returns policy, but I go to aquarium shops to get live, healthy fish. All too often with this place, this expectation isn't met.

Great place to get fish and pond plants. The folks here were incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating. It is a little hard to find, because it is up a hill behind a hotel, but worth the drive. They seem to have everything you could possibly need for aquariums, terrariums and ponds.

I have not been in there in a while do to the drive and I regret not coming sooner. Last time I was there, had a great time and honestly never seen a business ran so good before. And even today the only bad thing i can even say is the drive to get there and the Karen's you see in the reviews. lol. The wait isn't to bad, the prices are fair, The fish I bought are in good quality, the staff is very friendly, even seen the owner a few times. If I didn't already work at Walmart, I'd love to get a job there. They seem to really care about there business unlike my store. They seem to have the best management and team and a owner who cares about his business. 10 out of 10 would recommend shopping there for your supplies and fish.

Aquarium Haven: Where Knowledge Meets Warmth, and Harriet's Heart Shines Bright!I can't recommend this aquarium store enough! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by their incredible knowledge of the hobby. Whether you're a seasoned enthusiast or just starting out, they have all the expertise you need to make your aquatic experience a success. The staff here is not only knowledgeable but also incredibly personable. They take the time to listen to your needs and guide you in the right direction. It's like talking to old friends who genuinely care about your interests and want to see you succeed in your aquarium endeavors. And let's talk about their selection—it's simply outstanding. They have everything you could possibly dream of for your underwater world. From exotic fish to vibrant plants and top-of-the-line equipment, they've got it all. I could spend hours browsing through their aisles, and each visit leaves me inspired to create something new and beautiful in my own tank. What sets this place apart, though, is the fact that it's family-owned. You can feel the passion and love they have for this business in every aspect of the store. It creates a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel like part of the family. But there's one person who truly makes this place exceptional—Harriet. She's an absolute gem. From the first day I met her, she reminded me of my beloved grandmother, who passed away recently. Harriet has a way of making you feel right at home, and her genuine care and warmth brighten every visit. Her personal touch and attention to detail have made a world of difference in my aquarium journey.Every time I come back to this store, it's like returning to a place filled with fond memories and new possibilities. And it wouldn't be the same without Harriet's presence. She's the heart and soul of this place, and her kindness has left a lasting impact on me.In summary, if you're looking for a place with exceptional knowledge, a personable and friendly staff, a vast selection of products, and a family-owned charm, this aquarium store is the perfect destination. But the reason I keep coming back time and again is Harriet. She's the reason this store feels like a second home to me, and her warm hospitality makes every visit unforgettable. Don't miss out on this amazing experience!

Nice store, with a friendly and knowledgable staff. They have a GREAT selection of fish- Usually. The last few times I've been in I've been a little disappointed in the saltwater selection. The freshwater section is great- they have a lot of fish you won't see anywhere else, and the BEST selection of nano fish in the area. All the fish look good, and healthy. I've always done well with what I've bought there.Nice selection of dry goods, too, and at decent prices.

Knoxville best store for fish, aquariums and support. The staff have been very helpful with finding solutions to issues in my tanks. Only place I do business with for fish. Good prices on supplies as well.

Have been a repeat customer for many years. Today made special trip to purchase koi. Several employees in front never asked could they help. Went to koi tank, young man there never asked could he help just ignored us. Then he left and didn't come back. After long time went up front asked for help at koi. Red bearded dude at checkout said ok but no one came. Waited 15 more and decided to go. Passed red beard dude at counter who didn't acknowledge our leaving or fact that we didn't buy the koi we wanted. Felt like no one in the store gave a darn about anything, just eating and talking to one another. Very disappointed. Really wanted the koi. Need to fire some people and start over or close.

I purchased a water pump 8 months ago from Aquarium. The pump stopped working and I was concerned about having to return it, because the only dealings I had in the past with them was when I originally purchased the pump.I could not be more pleased with the customer service! After checking out the pump they replaced it with a new one. Everyone was so polite and helpful. The lady (Harriette) working the front register was so sweet and funny. She made my day!Thank you Aquarium staff for making this a very pleasant experience. You are definitely a 5 star business!!

I gave 3 stars because it's a nice place but I drove an hour because I was told they had alot of pond plants but when I got there they didn't have a a good variety at all and no water hyacinths or cattails. Plants were over priced in my opinion at $14.99 for marginal plants and $39.99 for all water lilies. The worst part about this place is the lack of efficiency when it comes to waiting on customers. Waited forever for plant help, fish help and then to cash out.

We've been loyal customers to this store for years and years. Even after moving out of the area we haven't found a single store that compares to the professionalism, extensive knowledge, and excellent customer service. I will continue to order all my livestock and supplies through this store regardless of the longer drive to pick up said items. 10/10 Accept no substitute!
