I dropped my wife off to pick up something she found online. She liked the store and said she would have to go back when she has more time to look over the store

Love this place! The decor and atmosphere are what make it. Great place to get inspiration. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because sometimes the prices are a bit high.

I like this store, one of the few places in Knoxville. But lately i feel like they have less and less variety. Supply chain??

Unique items, great quality, always laid out nicely and excellent customer service, but sizes are limited and prices are high.

This place was insulting at best. It may be "policy" but there is a much better way to "watch" the customer without acting as if they are going to steal things. They follow you around the store, without being helpful, but rather watching you like a hawk in the most obvious ways. They literally ran into the dressing room area as if I was about to take an evening dress. I asked about a different color and rather than going to find it for me she said "I didn't know" and continued to stand outside my dressing room as if she couldn't leave me in case I decided to bolt. I have never been so insulted and belittled in a retail store in my life. For me to have spent that amount of money and yet treated like a thief was unbelievable. I won't go back. They need to train their staff better! Free people across the street never once treated us poorly and their items are just as expensive.

I just had an awful experience (02/08/2023 5:45p) with a customer service representative at this location. I came in to pick up an online order that I already paid for and had sent to the store for in store pickup/free shipping. The thin, mid height, white representative with the short blonde/graying hair was absolutely rude. First, she “couldn’t find” my order, then she tried to have me pay twice and talked down to me once I had told her that I had already paid online. She also scoffed when I told her that I had purchased something plus size from online, so they were unlikely to be able to replace the item with store stock. The younger representative with blue/brown hair that had greeted me had to come over and find the order for her. I just can’t figure out why she decided to have such a bad attitude today and act like it was an absolute chore to assist me. What a b***h. I sincerely hope you fire her.

Love the clothes but the employees have an attitude, look down their noses and are nearly rude.

The amazing distressed exterior may have been created by years of customers banging their head against the wall after exiting the store, because they've just spent their entire mortgage payment here but love the stuff too much to return any of it.
If you need interior design inspiration, come here immediately. You will get comments from guests like never before if you try to emulate the tons-of-brooms-hanging-from-the-ceiling display they had a while back. Not sure if it's a French thing or what, absolutely breathtaking.
By all means, you must buy an apron here.
If you don't need an apron, find something else just so you can get the Anthropologie bag.
They would be justified in charging money for the bags alone. The artwork is incredible (one artist they work with is Claire Desjardins from Montreal, look her up - talented individual).
They can be used for a gift bag, and then the recipient thinks they are getting something from Anthro (even though you actually just kept it yourself and gave them something cheaper).

I was shopping in this store last Monday and while I was there had to use the restroom. I am six months pregnant so that happens quite often now. I asked an employee probably if there was a restroom I could use. She told me they have no public bathroom and that they doing some work in the back so it was difficult to get to the restroom. I told her that I didn’t mind the mess, and informed her that I was pregnant so she would understand the urgency. She told me no, and said to go over to the juice store in the next shopping center over but said I might have to buy something to use it. I understand they don’t have a public restroom, but was shocked they wouldn’t make an exception for a woman who is 6 months pregnant. I have been to this store multiple times, and In the past I have had a pleasant experience, so I was surprised how my most recent trip went. I always thought of Anthropologie as being an upscale store, but not providing a restroom for your customers is not upscale. Will probably just order online from now on.

The most friendly staff ever. Great selection, including home items. Location can be hard to spot from the street. Decent amount of parking.
