Now that I’ve had time to calm down I’m leaving this review I will be leaving a separate review for the Man that came out to solve the very dangerous situation Gage put my daughter and myself in. If I could leave negative 5 stars I would the type of rage I felt on Monday I couldn’t even gather the words to write a review. The sales rep Justin told Gage to secure the mattress a certain way to the top of my daughter’s suv and instead of Gage listening he decided to put my child’s life along with mine and all the other drivers on the road at 5pm lives in danger maybe if his ego wasn’t as high as he appeared to be the damn mattress wouldn’t have slipped off the top of our suv blocking our view almost hitting the car beside us and dragging along the entire passenger side of our vehicle we had to swerve completely across another lane into on coming traffic into the abandoned Krystal parking lot just two minutes down the road from where we pulled off from when Gage assured us the mattress would hold and we were safe to drive I’m not an expert but it appeared poorly secured but against my better judgment I trusted a complete idiot to do a simple task that almost cost us our lives the mattress was so poorly attached to our suv that when Justin finally did arrive only 5 minutes later after I called the store in tears screaming it took him almost an hour and a half to correct the BS job Gage did which also made me have to call someone else to pick up my foster child from her after school program that closes at 6pm so now I also owe 32 dollars because of Gage because the closes person to get my child didn’t make it there until 6:32 Justin arrived at 6:03(I called at 5:58) and we did pull off again until 7:19 it was not his fault I’m actually surprised the mattress wasn’t ruined due to Gage’s negligence Justin finally got the mattress untangled, inspected it then we had to help him load it back on top of our suv he insisted that didn’t due to how freaking heavy it was I wish I had listened because two days later my back is still hurting but I wasn’t going to let him left that heavy thing all by himself due his coworker complete mess up as I’m writing this I now realize I’m not over it I am still pissed and I will be calling corporate because me and my child could not be alive right now and I don’t think he understands just how much danger he put us in Justin even offered to follow us since we had to drive to another city/county but there actually was no need he by himself in a parking lot on the side of the road tied the mattress on top of our suv better than Gage at the warehouse I don’t know if hitting a curb causes a car to start pulling to left but I’m taking my daughter’s car to go and get looked at this weekend and if it was caused by the curb I hope this company does the right thing and fixes it nothing was wrong with her suv prior and had Gage just tied the mattress how his coworker Justin suggested in the beginning there wouldn’t have been any issues if you go to American Freight Furniture #52 on Lovell road Knoxville TN Do Not Let Gage tie a thing to your truck he is more likely to send you and or the innocent drivers around you to your graves than home sincerely, a very disgruntled pissed off customer

Nice no pressure experience. The price of the living room suit we purchased was a much lower price than the same furniture we saw at another establishment.

I bought a sectional couch from the American freight on Lovell Road. The staff was amazing and helpful. But the #Warranty Department and corporate or both horrible to deal with. I had bought my couch on September 1 before my husband passed away. Brought it home. Realized the very next day that we did not have a warranty on there for some reason called to ask if we could have which we were told we could not do. Offered to pay cash to add a warranty on the furniture. Family came over After my husband passed away. My family seen where my couch started tearing. My family members sat down on the couch when they visited. They didn’t jump or stand or fight or anything on the couch. They just sat down normally. The people at the store were very helpful. They gave me the number and the information for #Warranty. I called them. They sent somebody over that was in the house less than four minutes. Walked in, looked at the couch, walked out. My sister-in-law was on the phone with me at the time and like I said they were in and out. They did not examine the couch at all. They did not pull the cushions. Technician did not look at the couch at all or examine it. But the technician was sure Letting the people with #Warranty know that we had improperly used it. My claim was turned down. All I wanted was them to fix it or replace it after spending almost $2000 for it. I even paid off early. The people with corporate were difficult to deal with. I won’t be buying furniture with them after this experience.

We bought a couch and love seat from american freight with warranty. Two years later love seat started peeling.we took pictures of the peeling..I went back to the store and took pictures of their warranty.it covered peeling .they told me the warranty wasn't covered.the manager told me we could have another set for $ 450they gave me $1000 rebate .went to store to pay the $450.they said it would now be $ almost $ 800.we walked out.the warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on.

If you buy furniture from this place don't waste time or money adding insurance. They don't fix it or cover it to replace. You are just better off going somewhere else. Yes the people were friendly but friendly doesn't give you the money you wasted. Of coarse it's always not covered. If you could leave negative stars I would. Do not shop there.

I have always had the best experience with American Freight on Lovell Road in Knoxville TN. I have worked with them since about 2018. The manager, Pj has always been very knowledgeable and helpful. He always goes above and beyond to make sure we leave happy and informed. I have not went to another furniture store since I found this location.

We bought a mattress in October. After 3-4 month shape changes appeared in the middle on each side, as a result we had pain in the back and bad sleeping.After inspection they decided that the warranty doesn’t cover it.Anyway, choose different place for mattress.P/S the staff was friendly during the purchase process…

First time coming here and was very much pleased! The dude with the green hair (Mika I think) was very helpful and was patient with me as I'm a indecisive shopper and ask alot of questions. I feel I got a great deal and plan on coming again for future purchases!
