Completely understaffed. Stood around waiting for 30 min and finally just left. The manager if this store should be fired immediately. Obviously, Verizon doesn’t want or need business. I’m reminded why I changed carriers years ago.

Worst place to go the do nothing but over charge people for stuff they do not need. Go to the Verizon in ALLANDALE!!!!!!!!

My dad went to the Verizon store on East Stone Dr to pay a bill on 3/12/24, waited 30 minutes to talk to someone, finally a lady came to talk to him, she said he would have to use a kiosk to pay, he is 81 years old and didn't know how to use it, she or anyone else would help him, he said they were very rude and would not show him how, took him to Allendale Verizon, in and out in a few minutes, do not recommend East Stone Dr Verizon, my husband and I had issues with their attitude and we went to the Allendale store several years ago and are pleased with the service there

Customer service is nonexistent. I went to the store on Stone Drive- Kingsport TN to get help with a problem I have been having with my phone- a serious security issue- the person who greeted me said she didn’t know how to fix. I explained the seriousness of not being able to make a telephone call from my home and suggested that maybe after 20+ years of being a Verizon customer it may be time to switch carriers. She very politely gave me a piece of paper with the customer service number and an access code that I could use within the next 7 days to change my service to another carrier!!! Looking at switching to T Mobile if they value their customers!!!

Made an appointment to transfer my MIL to our account and was told they can't cancel or transfer services. I was given a piece of paper and told to call the number on it and that they couldn't offer any other help. Not sure what the point of a Verizon store is if they can't help with a Verizon account.
Absolutely pathetic customer service, not to mention dismissive and rude, and one of the biggest wastes of time. Avoid.

I went in the store to have me service transferred into my name since I'm the only person on the account now. There were four employees at the front door. I was asked what I needed help with. I told them I needed my service transferred. I was given a phone number and sent on my way. I had just been told by customer support on the phone that I had to go into the store to have my service transferred only to be given another phone number and be told they can't help me. Pathetic

I have visited this store three times. One thing I have always noticed about this store is the arrogant attitude of the personnel, which does not make for a nice first impression, but they are the only corporate store in Kingsport.The reason for the last visit, I was considering switching carriers since Verizon REFUSED to modify the allocated IP address on my phone so that my location for business or other services searches was right. The IP address was incorrect because I had moved to a different area, and despite spending HOURS on the phone with Verizon tech support, they refused to update it. They continued making excuses, the primary one being that it was a browser issue, but it happened in the maps as well and I had updated all browsers, so I knew it was a lie. So I went to the store to see if they would help me and if so, I was going to upgrade to the iPhone 15. However, the employee who assisted me had a "I can't help and could not care less that you switch attitude." After speaking with him for a few minutes, he made it plain that even the corporate store was unwilling to help make the adjustment. When I told him, "Verizon just lost a long-term customer because I am going to AT&T." He slightly shrugged his shoulders, gave me a look of "Oh, well!" and said he understood.I arrived at the AT&T store in a matter of minutes, where the atmosphere was night and day. I was greeted warmly before they even knew why I was there. The clerk was refreshingly customer service oriented and even suggested a few service discounts. I left with an iPhone 15 Pro Max, and after several days of use, I can testify that AT&T's service is just as good as Verizon's. So, Verizon, get off your pompous high horse because your competition is getting better!

Agent was a smart aleck. I don't need a mouthy salesperson. Just please be nice and do what I asked. There are other companies out there that treat their customers better.
