I’m new to the area, I stopped into the store today to stock up on some of my hair products. The staff was rude had a “I’m better than everyone” attitude. During my checkout, I was told to step aside to let a woman with 4 kids go in front of me, I had already been waiting 10 minutes for the cashier to get done with her conversation with her co worker. I’d gladly drive another 30 minutes to Johnson City to avoid this location.

Wife went in for perfume. She had 2 $15 cards from sampler packs from there. Get up to the cash register told wife she could use only on card . No big deal. Then they say you can't use the card on the perfume she wanted. I thought a coupon from your store is good for anything. What a crock. I guess you lost a customer over a lousey $15.

Love love this ULTA!! The employees are very kind and Michael went above and beyond to màke sure I found all I was looking for. He assisted me till I checked out and it was so nice that someone actually cared to educate me on what products were best for my skin type. Will always shop here for my hair and skin, make-up needs!! Thanks to employee Michael for going above and beyond to assist me.

People wonder why their business fails in today's society ? Look no further than rude, snarky employees who are not helpful. I've been buying from the Kingsport Ulta store for years. NOT anymore. I'm ordering my stuff from Amazon. I can order from the comfort of my own home and don't have to put up with a snarly salesperson. There's a reason Amazon is No. 1

I was asked early on in my visit if I needed assistance, but at the time I did not. I located some hair products I wanted to buy, and noticed a sale sign on the shelves. An employee was stocking just beside me, and I asked her what items if the line sale sign applied to. She came over, looked, and said she guessed all of them. I then carefully surveyed the line of items and made my selections. I carried the items to the register, waited in line, only to be told none of the items were on sale. I told the associate I did not want them, explaining I was only getting then because I thought they were on sale- I could not figure out which items were on sale and was told they all were. I fully expected her to maybe ask if she could show me the on sale items as replacements or something…. But she just removed those items with a casual, “sorry.” Wow. I suppose I will buy them elsewhere. Perhaps your employees need to relearn how to encourage sales.
