Absolutely exquisite! Beautiful, stylish and chic clothing for every occasion. Ethel and her staff are professionals who excel in matching the clothes to the lady and occasion. This was my first shopping adventure at " The Encounter " -- just a first of many to come. Left feeling as though I had made some amazing new friends. I highly recommend Ethel and her staff to anyone seeking an awesome shopping experience! You could never visit without finding something unique and just for you. Happy shopping!

Took my daughter there for a fitting after her mom and her bought a couple dresses there. Ladies were nice..... Not a place for dads to hang out!

DO NOT RECOMMEND! Prom dress shopping so I went here. . .Very claustrophobic and cluttered. It looked like an unorganized indoor yard sale. I went in and was followed by a chatty lady. The experience was not enjoyable. Dresses are crammed on racks and it felt thrown together. Not a pleasant shopping trip. Bad customer service. Will not be back.

This place is absolutely amazing! The staff went above and beyond for my sister and helped her find the perfect wedding dress! From the moment we walked in the door until we left they were absolutely fabulous! I would recommend them to anyone! They can make or do anything that you need! We had gave up hope of finding one and just happen to look up and this shop popped up on Google! They are true miracle workers! Thank you from the bottoms of our hearts! This was our 1st time here and they definitely did not disappoint! You will definitely be where we come for any event from now on!

This place is amazing!!!! I took my daughter in for a prom dress. They met us at the door and stayed with us the entire time, helping us choose the right dress for her. They were so helpful and patient as she tried on several dresses. I don't think you'll get better service anywhere else. We were very pleased with our first time experience at The Encounter. This will be our go to for all other special events. We thank you all so much!

The only thing I encountered was a miss! The only reason I’m giving 1 star is because you can’t give less. The ladies is this establishment are rude, disrespectful, and plan out unprofessional. They told me that I couldn’t take any pictures of the dresses on my daughter because they are private… So I decided I would just take some pictures of this mega hoard! Literally they have stuff everywhere’s and even have medication laying out. I tried to talk to the owner about some concerns I was having with a dress my daughter was trying on. She was less than helpful all I’m saying if you’re buying a $500 dress do you want someone to be nice.. How this place has stayed in business since the 70s. Is beyond me… please get your act together ladies!

Very nice dress shop and very helpful. Thank you Teresa for helping my daughter looking at prom dresses. We didn't find what she was looking for but I would highly recommend this business. They have beautiful dresses and accessories to choose from. Reasonable prices. Very friendly and helpful staff!
