Brought my truck in the first 2 times to get my radiator hose fixed, a couple of new tires, oil change, and they claimed I needed a new pitney arm and wheel bearing. I spent about 2k between the 2 trips. Well one day not too long after, I noticed my truck would start making a sound about 45 minutes into driving. My first instinct was to do all the basic checks so I checked my engine oil level. Boy was I surprised when I noticed the dip stick showed over the clearly marked "operating range" full line by what appeared to be 1 quart to a 1 1/2 quart.Making sure I wasn't just doing something incorrectly, I brought it back to them, parked in a level spot, and let it cool down. I then approached a mechanic and asked that he go check the oil level in the truck to make sure I wasn't crazy, as I believed it was over.He asked me when I got my oil change last and I explained I had gotten it there not too long ago. He went to check it himself and admitted it was over by at least a quart. He then started in on the "oh this oil is too clean I think you're gas might be mixing with it, then the "oh this could be wrong or that could be wrong" schtick to poison the liability well etc, etc.Keep in mind I just had this engine rebuilt last year for 6k and I get my oil changed on time every time and I check my oil constantly to ensure I keep rolling because this is my livelihood and I simply cannot survive without my truck. If there was an issue with gas mixing in with the oil, I would have noticed it by now and if it was a spontaneously new issue, my oil level would be back over the full line AFTER this correction as I drive hundreds of miles a week (spoiler, it wasn't).So I watch them drain the oil back to the full mark, and of course they admit it was over by more than a quart. I go inside, not too happy but calm at the time, and I say "I think it's only fair that i get a refund on that oil change". I explained this could have been a very different conversation if something would have happened to that engine. This is where the guy at the desk could have saved face and simply apologized for any possible mistakes, owned up to them, and moved on. I was asking for a $70 refund on my most recent $1.4k bill. I had taken time out of my busy day to come spend 2 hours dealing with an issue they caused. I paid his mechanics for their time, now I wanted compensated for my time at the very least. What does the guy do? Does he apologize for the situation? No he does not. He shuffles some papers around, looks at me condescendingly with an obvious "I know it all" ego, knowing I've never worked on vehicles as I told him that previously, and he says "look, a quart over in your oil can't damage your vehicle, how long have you been working on trucks?". I was furious at this point. Regardless of any theories he had, driving in a commercial setting, hundred of miles a week with extra oil putting pressure on everything definitely could not be good for my engine. I'm pretty sure the manufacturer put that mark on the stick for a reason. The guy resists the refund at first but eventually agrees to refund my oil change only if I never return. What a great business attitude! I told him, don't worry, I don't want to get my truck worked on at a place that can't do an oil change properly. I admittedly was not too friendly after this point and said some things that I'm not too proud of, but this whole negative interaction would have never escalated if he had showed the smallest iota of compassion and just gave me the refund without insulting my intelligence. In fact, I probably would have been back if he had any people skills whatsoever. I understand mistakes happen and I was willing to forget and forgive if they'd just do the right thing. We are all human afterall and I am not perfect myself. I have 2 trucks that require annual maintenance and they would have continued to receive my business. Definitely not now. I highly recommend you stay far away from th
