Absolutely horrible experience EVERY SINGLE TIME I come here.
They're unfortunately the only store in the area with Bubbies Sauerkraut.
The self checkouts are ALWAYS packed, because people get held up by the outdated technology, and lack of service. It's not entirely the fault of the store though, there are elderly people who like to stand around talking in the self checkout line and then get upset when you cut in front of them.
If you're just doing your weekly grocery shopping,save yourself some time and dignity, go somewhere else instead!

I will NEVER go here again. Went for pickup, first off they ran late. Then I get home and they forgot a HUGE portion of my order. Called back and the store manager has 0 customer service skills. He said I can fix it (I can fix THEIR mistake) by coming BACK to the store after I just spent 20 minutes getting there and back or I can pay a delivery fee for what THEY forgot. Very shady business they are doing, very incompetent staff, and everyone needs trained on customer recovery because they lost one today!

My experience here was so nice.But I was a little loss so some nice workers had to help me find my way but overall great store.Has anyone else enjoyed this store?

Waited three whole days to talk to the store manager. Called every single day. Called three times in a row was on hold for 30 minutes to only have the store manager Adam tell me their fully staffed and to try other Kroger's in other cities.. they wasted my time just to waste my time. If you are moving from a different state and try to apply for Kroger.. don't. They will only waste your time and be treated as an outsider.

They usually have some good deals which is why I shop here. The shopping carts are trash, the bathroom is almost always stinky and they can't even manage to put a paper towel holder up. They are almost always out of items and evidently they don't have a reliable person to order these items. Aside from the organics which is questionable whether it really is, the majority of other food is loaded with toxic ingredients. From their toxic turkeys to the propylene glycol and sodium benzoate in their bakery and meat counter offerings you really have to look up every questionable ingredient. Why is Kroger putting propylene glycol a poison used in car antifreeze in its bakery items? Someone needs to file a class action! This has gone too far. Selling poisonous cancer causing food and vaccines courtesy of American taxpayer subsidies and calling it food/medicine is unacceptable!

Currently more affordable than Food City and much fresher produce. The lack of organized vegetarian and vegan options is disappointing. The lack of cashiers and the annoying self checkouts can be extremely frustrating.

I was in there making 2 separate purchases for pepsi and diet cokes. The self check cashier come up and says you can only buy 5 12 packs at a time. I made 2 seperate purchases, As I got to my car and loaded the drinks in the car. The special needs self-check cashier Michael come running out, grabbed me from the back, saying I just stole from the store, I pulled out the receipts from both purchases, as he yanked the receipts out of my hand he hit me, after he looked at the receipt I grabbed the receipt back, then he goes running into the store saying I assaulted him to call the police, when I didn't touch him(if I had he would of been laying on the ground) I called the store, to let the manager (Adam) know what happened, he proceeded to tell me, that he was taking his employee word over mine.

The young kids running the mobile orders are clearly overwhelmed and need adequate help. Each time the wait and delays are increasing to super long times. Get these kiddos some proper management.

Either Kroger at the corporate level or the manager at the local level is too stupid to recognize this store is often out of available carts and something could be done to solve that.
If you want to see how committed the staff is to doing a good job, have a peek between the self check out machines and see all the dirt and filth which never gets cleaned and if you are fortunate enough to find a cart it's likely to shake like it's having a seizure from wear, tear and neglect.

I hate leaving bad reviews but this Kroger needs some TLC. I’m not from Kingsport and I travel all over. I know this is a small town but that doesn’t mean you can’t keep a clean Kroger. It smells, there is stuff all over the floors. Everything is very unorganized and chaotic Some empty shelves and it’s just a hot mess. Send some people in to help this store!

Went there tonight. They had no cashiers,just self check outs. I don't work there so I asked a worker to check me out. She was very rude and walked away before the transactions was even done. I won't go back there.

Has stuff I miss from florida bad smell almost wanted to leave meat and seafood was very helpful I know seafood born and raised florida for 50 years heard a reply to a customer 7 days cooked shrimp was ok SMH kill the ol folks y'all but I drive here do to things other stores do not carry if publix was closer I would live there purchasing 480 bucks every 2 weeks store could not smell like it did 7/3/2024 assumed bad fish

They carry a lot of stuff that other stores don’t carry but this particular store is kind of dirty. When I walked in this morning to get groceries, the smell of rancid seafood literally hit me in the face. Seafood shouldn’t smell that loud, if it does then it’s not fresh. The egg section was a mess, there was broken egg slime all over the shelves and some of the cartons. The containers of yogurt had dirt all over them. It was busy in the store today and grocery store workers were in the way everywhere trying to stock stuff. Isn’t that supposed to be done at night?? Overall this store could use a good scrub down…everywhere.
