Too many chicks sexualizing themselves in short shorts and tummies showing yet men can’t wear tank tops. Be the Christian facility that you’re supposed to be and don’t allow double standards

More than just a workout place... Taking classes and meeting new folks who are working on common health issues.

Great facility. Has everything you could need (please add a sauna :). The staff is always amazingly friendly and the place is CLEAN. Make sure you say hi to Jane on the way in, she’s so friendly and helpful.

Only good thing I can say about this place is the employees are friendly, most of the time. Unfortunately, not only is the gym terrible, old, and in horrible condition, but I've witnessed a lady with dark hair abuse the staff and the people who come here. She is an evil witch and is the main reason why we have been considering canceling our memberships and going somewhere else. That and the horrible hours. I mean seriously, what gym isn't open 24 hours? Ridiculous! Any other gym is better. There are so many people, including myself, who have had things stolen (phones, bags, car keys, etc)... It's ridiculous! Like I said, this place closes sooo early. But that manager lady needs to be fired and locked in an asylum. DO NOT COME HERE FOR THE GYM! If you want an actual gym and a good place to work out, go to APEX. Go to Kingsport fitness. Go to Exalt. No matter what, don't come here. Either manager or just extremely rude and bossy employee not only abuses the equipment, but abuses the staff and members. YUCK!

Great place but the hours are really, really bad. Before COVID the hours were a lot better but everyone's hours got worse after COVID.

It is great for getting in your swimming exercise. There are multiple pools and it's reasonably priced or you can join the Senior Center and get in for free during certain hours.

I was a member of a Lifetime Fitness in Chicago area for around five years. Lifetime was great but very costly. We moved to Kingsport area and joined the YMCA. Especially for the money the YMCA is a far better deal, but even at the same cost it is a great deal. The equipment is in great condition, the classes are great, and the walking track upstairs is a real plus. I could not be happier and look forward to many years of exercise to come.

We are new to the YMCA family and love it so far. Plenty of exercise equipment to choose from, variety of classes available. We enjoy their Line Dancing classes on Thursday's and Saturday's. Hope to try the indoor and outdoor pools. Easy to find off the hwy at the Mountain View Marriott exit. Located across the street and one light down from the hotel. Huge parking lot.

I love the Y. Most classes, especially Mary’s step, are simply the very best. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the Barre classes taught by Hope. She doesn’t understand that the attendees are paying her hourly rate as well as her free gym membership. She isn’t customer service oriented whatsoever. If an attendee turns the fans on..leave them on!! Don’t go behind the attendee and turn them off…not once….but three times during a single class. She needs to know or be told that people of all ages attend the classes and some of us are older..especially women…and we get hot very easily. How frustrating to have her turn off three times in one class resulting in the attendee having to turn on again and again. What gives? It is understood that muscles do better in warmer temperatures, but do you want women above 50 to pass out or just leave on the fans? I don’t think the Y would’ve installed the fans if they weren’t meant to be used. Hope is also borderline rude. The world isn’t all about her! Y administration, please have a discussion with her. I almost just left the class because I was so upset.

I have been a member of the Y in Ohio for over 40 years. One of my favorite places to visit is Kingsport Tenn. . When I visit family in Kingsport I come to the Y. The staff and facilities are great. I count it a blessing to dome to a exercise facility where Christianity is promoted. God Bless !!

Great place to work out. Never feel judged - always feel comfortable. All kinds of activities to do. Only thing I do not like is the hours, if it would be 24/7 it would be amazing. The aquatic center is great in the summer.
