Tra started off like he didn't want me or his coworker there. Super rude to both of us. I initiated conversation about trade ins and his answer was that he could leave my games on the counter behind him if I wanted. I had to push for him to trade it in and then he acted like it was too late in the day. When I pushed again he admitted that the cut off was still an hour away. Just pathetic. Maybe needs a job without customer service.

Best game stop in the Tri-Cities, went there because I got a bad copy of Red Dead 2 in Johnson City and went to this location and the gentleman and lady helped figure out what was wrong with the game and then exchanged the game for me with no problem!

Ben gave great, friendly service to me and my friends. He's fun to chat with, too! I hope to see him again in future visits.

Went and bought my son two games and a card, walked out only paying for the 3 items $48. That was his birthday money left over and he saved $2 on preused games! Always buy for like $2 more the protection on CD disc's because you never know if they will work or not, and that way you're protected!

We have been going to GameStop stores for over 20 years, and have never received the amount of outstanding customer service we experienced at this Kingsport location. The store manager, Ben, was there this afternoon and from the moment we walked into the store, until the moment we left, he treated us as if he had known us our entire life. The atmosphere as a whole was inviting, with the store very clean and well kept. We had no issues with any of our transactions, and had such a great experience as a whole just shopping here. The employees that worked with Ben were also very welcoming, and everyone as a whole was super friendly. Being from the south, this is the kind of "southern hospitality" we look forward to not only when visiting family and friends, but also shopping in stores. It had been very disappointing getting bad experiences at other GameStop stores, since gaming is a hobby both my husband and I enjoy together. But Ben and his team really revitalized our love for not only gaming, but also shopping at GameStop. This is without a doubt the store we will return to from now on.

I see this place getting a lot of hate online but in the real world and smaller areas this is the only game stores around if you have a hard time paying sixty or more for games at a time think ahead and reserve pay ten bucks a week and by the time it comes out your done. For physical gamers like me this is the place. Wish they had more inventory or retro games but I'm just happy they still exist.

I hate GameStop. Overpriced. They rip you off for your used games. If it were up to me, they'd have went out of business already

This store has a horrible smell. I heard about this store stinking from a friend, but they said it could have been a customer. Only people in the store were us and the two guys at the counter. I lasted maybe a minute and we left. Im giving two stars instead of one because the counter guys greeted us.

Austin was amazing and helped me to find the purple and orange joycon controller set I had been looking for. He informed me of some great deals right now and was very knowledgeable

They were completely rude. Questioning if I could even make the purchase I picked out, and took to the counter. Simply, because I had to wait for my wife, who was in a near by store. She had our bank card shopping. They were laughing and joking, as if I could not afford my items, this was apparent by their remarks "they don't barter, that I needed money to shop in their store." Like how do you say that kind of stuff to your costumers. I surely hope, that at this point in time, they have received new management and employees, or at least followed the trend of their sister stores and closed the doors.

The two employees that work there were really friendly they actually knew what they were talking about which made the shopping experience a lot better
