“My cat broke his front leg and I had been turned away by 4 vets already, including the facility that I've had an account with for over a decade. I kinda get it, understaffed and too many Saturday emergencies. it is what it is. That was totally flipped around when I walked into Jonesborough Animal Hospital. I didn't have an appointment but I was actually shaking, afraid they'd turn me away too. But they didn't. The very kind receptionist went back to ask their vets if they could see my cat with no notice and they said yes. I sat down and cried tears of relief, cause I didn't know where else to go at that point. within 5 minutes of sitting in the waiting room, we were called back. The staff and the vet were so gentle and kind to my cat, commenting on how good of a cat he is the whole time ( to be fair, he's a really great cat). The visit, vaccine updates, pain medicine, and X-rays ended up costing about 1/5 of the price I anticipated all together. We were out of there withing 1.5 hours. I decided while I was there that THIS is our new vet for good. I was never treated as an inconvenience or a problem, even though I didn't have an appointment and we had never been there. I half expected for everyone to be annoyed with our emergency. everyone was so kind. This will be where we go (with an appointment) from now on. I'm 100% satisfied with how my cat and I were treated from the moment we walked through the door and I can't thank the staff enough for being the only place to say "yes" during our emergency.”
