Weirdest encounter I’ve ever had with a business owner. Took my package didn’t scan it or give me a slip. I took the package back to go 20 minutes out of the way just to drop off at another location because the encounter was so weird and odd.

You grabbed the package and was placing it under the counter you NEVER had any intention on scanning it hints why I took the package back. The door had open on the front. Maybe flip your sign around to say CLOSED so you don’t have to entertain customers that day or maybe even find another business that doesn’t require you to come in contact with customers if you don’t like dealing with them considering you seem bothered to deal with me like you were inconvenienced. Not only that police department had a big tall sign that said “downtown businesses open”. I didn’t seem myself so kind of you to say when you don’t even know me and that’s the first time I’ve ever stepped foot in that store.
I absolutely agree my family & everyone we know from this point on out will avoid this location all together!
What’s even worse I just explained the situation to my family… Two different family members told me they never come into your store due to how rude you are including my 16 year old nephew. Coincidence I think not! The good reviews have to be people you know. If your response doesn’t justify the shown professionalism then I don’t know what will. Maybe consider another business that doesn’t require you to have contact with people. Good luck & God Bless!

The Staff at the Packet N post always goes above and beyond to help us in anyway possible. It is the only place I will ship in the tri-cities. Convenience, Pricing, service are all top notch. It is nice to feel welcomed and like family instead of a number.

I just stopped here to print a document. I felt bad that I only had one piece of paper to print so to help the business, I also bought a water and sugar free powder packet. I noticed she also mailed packages through USPS and I asked if she would be willing to take a box for return and she said yes. I got the box and noticed it was slightly open in one spot. She had a small packaging table in the corner with open supplies and open tape. I grabbed a small piece of duct tape - maybe couple of inches to put on the box and she started telling me about being prepared and it costs money for the tape. I told her to charge me for the tape but she refused but kept fussing. She just didn’t have a friendly attitude and I was even trying to help her as a local small business, but she fussed for a small piece of tape. She said post office don’t tape up the box, and she is wrong. I have monthly subscription and I mail these return boxes every month and I drop them off at the post office with no issues. They always seal it for me. It’s not even about the tape. At the end she asked me if I was local, and if I live here. Her attitude probably showed that she assumed I’m not from the area and also because I’m not white. But to answer the question - yes I’m local, from Tennessee, from Washington county and I’m not white. We are living in 2024, please get over the racist attitude and be more professional. I wanted to help her business and put a positive review but the way she handled business was not friendly and unprofessional. I’m sorry but I can’t post a positive review for this kind of attitude. I gave 2 starts instead of 1 because I got the print out I needed. I have a small photography business myself but I treat my customers with respect and courtesy, regardless of their skin color or culture.
Update - oh don’t worry I’m not planning to come back to your store again. I rather drive a few miles to a post office and get a better service. If you are so worried about the cost then don’t advertise or tell me I can drop off the package because I asked you before I did. And also, just having bi-racial grandkids doesn’t make you not racist. You were not friendly to me the moment I stepped in. And yes it was a few inches of tape, the box was only open from the front. I don’t think I can use a whole roll of duct tape on a small box. You noticed because you were watching me. If you don’t want people to use the supplies then don’t leave them out in the open or post a sign that we have to pay. I even offered you to pay and you refused. It’s not about the policy that you were telling me, it’s how you were telling me in a very unfriendly and unprofessional manner.

9:05 a.m. on a Thursday and still not open . It's bad enough it doesn't open until 9 a.m. but then not open when it's supposed to be.

Always have whatever I need and it's close to home, which I appreciate. Today, for example, I had a document I needed to have notarized. She noticed me put it into an envelope and offered to mail it for me. Thoughtful service, in my opinion.

Very unprofessional would give zero stars but I can't stop here to get some paper sent off lady came out screaming at me because it's snowing saying that I can't park where I was I was parallel parking and I was adjusting myself and she came out saying I was too close to her car and that I needed to learn how to park and she was the worker in their very rude would not recommend them to anyone they need to learn what customer service truly is !

I pay for a mail box here and since we travel full time. What they told me they do in order for me to spend 180$ to rent a mailbox is incorrect. They won’t respond to any emails we send them regarding mail I know they have gotten for us. I’ve called multiple times to talk to someone with no answers. They are in with postal1 which is how I got connected with them but I’ll be contacting them with a complaint. I’m using a different mailing company now so I know I’m not missing any of our mail.

Southern Hospitality is dead in this place. I have been in three times and it has been worse with each experience. The older woman there is a real crab. Very impatient. Dismissive. I try to go there when I can to keep the business local, but honestly not worth the icky vibes.
