Clean store, good prices. The layout is a bit cramped and the cashiers are always dour but their sales are generally in stock.

Pros: Conveniently located in Jonesborough with a very nice staff, Rebecca especially. She deserves a raise! They have pretty good prices on wine. The 15 cents off gasoline is great.
Cons: On several occasions, I have not received the posted sale price. Even when there is a big yellow signs right in front of the endcap!! Maybe there’s a glitch in the system but it is always in their favor.
It’s too “complicated” to shop here if you like to get good prices and things on sale. One needs to scrutinize their sales flyers. They run Specific sales dates on things and have multiple purchase requirements before sale price kicks in. So unless you’re really paying attention, you end up paying more than expected. Any savings with gasoline discount is negated. Disappointing!

I had the best experience with Rebecca today, she's a sweet cashier and manager. She makes my mornings great with her smiles, and communication. She makes the store feel like family. I hope they keep her forever.

In the last few weeks. we've wasted almost $20 by buying mixed fruit at this store. Terrible quality, soft, mushy exotic fruit mix and hard canalope, pineaple and blueberries had white mold on them in pre-cut mixed fruit container.

Very rude and disrespectful I put my flyer in my bag and was being followed by an employee or manager it was to the point where I opened my bag and said “it was my flyer I put in there” they actually said sorry very rudely. I didn’t see them for the rest of my shopping time.

Nastiest low-grade meat in Jonesborough besides Ingles and Walmart. It's a shame that the only place for good meat is Fresh Market in Johnson City as far as a grocery store goes around here. Trash meat at Food City ??

I don't like food city I only go to their pharmacy. They treat employees terribly and don't pay them a living wage. They spend millions on NASCAR but don't take care of their people. Have no respect for them whatsoever.

I look at your fruit and vegetables and the 4 to 5 digit code on the sticker starts with a 4. This means. That it is a genetically modified something (GMO) how about purchasing a better quality items not the cheapest and have been modified by the government. And I know there is bananas that are safe to eat I got it at Walmart of all places. So please purchase food that doesn’t have the GMO.
