NOT OPEN 24 HOURS AS ADVERTISED. It's very dangerous to advertise yourself that way. Desperate pet owners in very scary situations deserve better.

They claim to be open on Saturday evenings but when I had an emergency with my dog they were there. I don’t trust their website.

Someone literally kidnapped my cat from the backyard of my apartment and took him to this hospital. Luckily he's chipped so they called me to let me know he's there. When I called them back, I spoke with Janet. Janet was extremely rude, and informed me that my cat was considered a stray and that I needed to provide proof that he was mine when I picked him up. She proceeded to tell me that he was "wandering around the apartment complex" and that made him a stray. He's an indoor/outdoor cat and he's chipped. When I asked who grabbed him and brought him in, she refused to tell me and just said, with an attitude, "A good Samaritan." When I arrived to pick him up, she continued with "You're here for the STRAY?" My cat, he's the son of my other cat. He was born in my house and he's now 12 years old. He's also scared easily and hates being picked up. I've never, ever had this happen his entire life. He was extremely upset when I got him back. I was treated terribly by this woman, and I'm livid.

Been going here for 14 years. I have 3 dogs and it was time for their yearly wellness check. Before I had a chance to take them I was in an automobile accident and broke my shoulder. I was unable to take them for a few months. I called and explained my situation and they gave me 2 months of sentinel which they take every month. On the 3rd month I went to the Watauga office and spoke with a lady who said she was the pharmacist, I asked for another month supply of sentinel to give me another month to heal. She told me no. My husband died two months before the accident so I had no one to help me. I am now looking for another vet .

I will start by saying this is not our primary vet. We have been established with another vet for over 25 years. But Robinsons is our emergency/off hours vet. We have been to them twice now with our dog Bear. He was badly dehydrated the first time after being sick for a few days and this most recent (still ongoing) he ate a stuffed toy of another dog that was visiting. My daughter uses Robinsons for her cat. I'd like to address a couple things. I have found the staff to be very patient and supportive and caring. I have never felt they are padding the bill or over charging. To the contrary they have always asked before testing to be sure we are all on board and even give us all the costs involved so we are informed. Their staff take a scary and stressful situation and make it easier to deal with. Bear has spent the night with IV's and has come out the next day happy and excited and feeling much better. Expect follow up calls and ppl who do care for your pets. We have labradoodles and like all lab breeds they eat things they shouldn't, on days our normal vet is closed. I expect we will be back again sometime in the future and I feel we are all in good hands.
