They sent me a txt to confirm delivery date and time. I responded, then adjusted my schedule and clients accordingly, only to have them cancel and select a different time that didn’t even work for me, Their response” our scheduling system is stupid” and that’s the manager on duty!!!
Use someone else if you can!

Their customer service is a joke to say the least. I was at a business yesterday and overheard the conversation with one of their employees that took place on speaker phone. I would run as far as possible and use a different company. It was ridiculous for the lack of responsibility and the laughing their employee was doing during this call. No business should operate the way this woman portrayed that it did.

I have had ODFL, Saia, and Dayton Freight all make residential deliveries to my residents multiple of times. Payed for curbside delivery with Southeastern and all I got was excuses for 5 days. I had to pick up my own freight at their service center.

I asked for a quote from this company. Liked the rate and called back with the quote number to schedule my freight to be picked up. They didn't pick up on the day they said and didn't notify me. When I called to find out what was going on they informed me it was too dangerous road conditions. This continued for over 2 wks. I finally called the pick up location and asked about road conditions. They told me trucks had been coming and going every day without issue since my scheduled pick up. When they finally did pick up the shipment, the driver informed the pickup location that they had been waiting on another load in the vicinity become coming to pick up this shipment. They then called me to inform me that they had my shipment and my charges were 9x the quoted price! I argued that I had a rate quote. They told me they "didn't have it" I tried to give the rate quote number to the lady again and she didn't even want to take it. Instead she decided to badger and insult me . I called corporate and they helped me fix the issue with the rate quote. We scheduled the truck to arrive. I called and confirmed twice that it would be there at the scheduled day and time. 13 mins before the scheduled time they called to inform me they weren't coming--claiming they didn't know if the rate quote stuff would be "fixed" in time. I had confirmed multiple times through corporate that is was. I already had taken off work, paid help and rented equipment to unload the truck at the scheduled time. We ended up driving to the dispatch to pick up the load ourselves. DO NOT use this company... they are disorganized, and will try to get away with completely ripping you off if they can. Buyer beware of SEFL - Blountville/Kingsport Division. Oh...and did I mention that there is no discount for coming to pick up your own order from dispatch after all of this hassle?
