This is a story I got from my sister from this year. I personally attended the school from elementary all the way through middle. I have had issues with the school in the past, but after hearing the story, I am outraged. I was just made aware that a student was wearing braids to school while also wearing a do-rag. A bunch of eighth grade girls were harassing him and taking his do-rag. He fought back in self-defense to take back his property and ended up getting in trouble with the school. Then he was told he had to take his braids out while the eighth grade girls got away without any punishments. Take it from a former student from the school and do not let your children go here if you want them to be treated fairly and respectfully.

Today we played at the Sam Jenkins school facility. The one complaint I really have is the lack of marking at the 1st driveway we approached. Not knowing any better, we turned in to the 1st driveway where our GPS told us to. As it turned out, the driveway only lead to a round about to drop off students at the front of the elementary school. Halfway down the next drive which is the right driveway - there is a sign that notes the athletic facilities are in back via this route. Would have been nicer to know that before turning in the 1st driveway. Anyways, while the school might be elementary, I am guessing that the facilities are those of the local high school. There are 4 softball fields as well as a track and probably a football field or soccer field inside of it. There was ample parking as we got there for the 2nd set of games and had no trouble finding a place even though the 1st games were still going on. Parking is located above the fields and it is a gentle walk down. After getting parked, we quickly found the field we were to play on. I wanted a place to walk and had seen there was a track nearby. I was super happy that there was no fence around it so I was able to just walk the track for an hour. It turned out really well and I get my exercise in. I also report that the facilities were very nice. Well maintained restrooms with running water and stocked with paper products. There was a concession stand and other administrative offices in the building in the middle of the quad. A very nice set up for hosting a softball tournament. There were bleachers for each field on each side of the baseline. There also was ample room for folks who brought portable chairs. The dugouts were well maintained as were the fields. The tournament also was nice enough to you have the crew ready and working between each and every game re-lining the fields and raking them clean. My only gripe here was the price to get into the field. At least the flow of traffic was better than at the other facility as there was more room for the people coming in and going to keep their social distance. I appreciate that as I am still trying to be cautious in this day and age. Overall, a good experience and I would not mind playing back at this location again.

Best school of Tennessee. If you go there you will have a great time learning. I went there pre-K through 3rd grade. But I had to move to Texas. Right now I'm in 5th grade supposed to be in 6th grade. Anyway take your kids to that school if you don't have a school to go to.
