Great environment and everything you need. Only complaint is that on occasion, people will sit on a machine and play on their phone wasting your time waiting for them. Employee's never address or confront these rude customers. Doesn't happen all the time, but enough.

I am writing to request a refund of the full amount of my previous fees paid to Planet Fitness. I was not notified of the unpaid fees that are owed on my account and had a personal injuries that denied me access to the gym at the time. I spoke to my home gym in Johnson City, TN, and they did not assist in anyway. I was told by the manager that I would have to go to the gym to cancel, but I have not had the accessibility to do so. I explained this to the manager and they still did not offer assistance in anyway. Meanwhile, I continued to get charged late fees, monthly fees, and could not cancel. I was going to physical therapy and have medical documentation for evidence of these injuries. I have not been allowed to use the gym, even though I have been paying my monthly membership fees. I would like a cancellation of my membership and a refund on all charges from Planet Fitness, due to the negligence of Planet Fitness disregarding my injuries that did not allow me to utilize the facilities. I have paid nearly $400 to Planet Firness throughout the past year. Planet Fitness disregarded my concerns and requests, while continuing to put me in a financial, physical, and emotional bind.

Took out the membership, only went 4 times, rolled my car 4 times, and they continue to take out the 10 dollars even though I am unable to go there to exercise. I Call it stealing from their clients. I emailed them also sent pictures of police report and asking them by phone and email to please Cancel 6 months later they are still taking out the 10 a month.SO NO I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND PLANET FITNESS TO ANYONE BECAUSE OF THIS REASON....It's CALLED STEALING FROM PEOPLE S BANK ACCOUNTS after they ve totaled their car..NO DON T GO THERE IF YOU HAVE AN ACCIDENT THEY RE GONNA TAKE YOUR MONEY EITHER WAY..THEY HAVE NO COMPASSION WHEN YOU VE HAD AN ACCIDENT..TEN DOLLARS MIGHT NOT BE ALOT TO YOU BUT WHEN YOUR WITHOUT A VEHICLE AND MOUNTING HOSPITAL BILLS 10 DOLLARS IS ALOT....SAVE YOUR MONEY GO TO THE YMCA ITS FREE.

Staff is more concerned of upholding silly policies than letting you get a workout in. Ironically “judgement free” only applies if you don’t take fitness seriously. If you look the role, they will take the opportunity to pick on you over something goofy. Clearly not a place for serious lifters. Goofy Jonathan who unfortunately is the gm fits the tough guy persona, and will use their “policy” to further his ego. Planet fitness strikes again lol

The employee named Brandon is extremely rude and hateful. Yesterday we came in and yes my guest had slides on but he lifted for two and a half hours in the same slides. Today I walk in and this guy Brandon is having a heart attack asking who this guy is and who is that guy. I explained that he is my guest and if he paid attention I just checked in via the app. I said we were just here yesterday what's the problem and he stated that it was because he was wearing slides. He was extremely rude and that I recall he was working the same day that my guest walked in with slides previously. I also recall that he was doing nothing but walking around having fun instead of actually walking around and guiding those who needed help and that sort of thing. It appears he was having a little too much fun if you asked me. The ladies working the front are amazing and there is two younger guys that work there that are amazing. But this Brandon guy is super rude and not professional whatsoever. I see why this place gets so many complaints. I've had my membership for 3 days and I'm already ready to go somewhere else.

I signed up for my membership in 2019. I had been coming consistently for a few weeks when I walked in and heard an unfamiliar voice say “Welcome, Camille”. I was blown away when I realized a worker had taken the time to remember my name to give me a proper welcome.That employee’s name is Brandon.I would go on to find out this was a normal occurrence for him with all guests, as that is just a testament to his kind soul. 4 years later and Brandon continues to prove, daily, how much he genuinely cares about his job and wants to make it a welcoming, safe space for everyone. So very thankful for Brandon and all the great people I’ve met at PF throughout my fitness journey. ❤︎

The long haired maintenance guy is off his rocker! He rudely tells me not to re-rack the weights so hard - he has to repair the smith machines. Been going to Planet Fitness for two years never an issue. Of course I could wear spandex and a sport top like the girls - perfectly acceptable!

Long hair maintenance guy was rude - putting 225lbs back on smith machine the safeties are metal on metal and make noise. He approaches me and tells me to let the weights down easier because he has to repair the machines. I said are you kidding me. He said they are his machines. I said they don’t belong to you. He looked at me like I was insane and just committed a hideous crime - I asked him if he was nuts. He stormed off looking for the manager.Let’s try enforcing the rules and keeping the place clean - girls with spandex & bikini tops & filthy bathrooms with blaring TV that smell like a cesspool!Is it time to work out somewhere else ??

Started coming here years ago and just got a membership again. Love the environment. Employees are always super nice and helpful with machines. Plenty of treadmills, ellipticals, stair-steppers, etc. Love the 30-min Express Workout. Love that they have showers (4), too. I workout late at night and that keeps me from coming home and making a bunch of noise cleaning up after the gym. Come here if you want a great place to workout!

Today was my first day. The trainer was very professional and polite in teaching me all about the machines and how to use them. Lots of equipment and a wide variety. What I liked was that people minded their own business. No looking and staring at me. I didn't feel weird. I am looking forward to my fitness journey there. Machines are kept clean and the gym is laid out in an organized space and is kept up and clean.

If you don't care about the frills of a high-end fitness place, planet fitness is for you. Basically it's no nonsense. You go in get your workout done. Lots of aerobic equipment, they just upgraded a lot of their machines. And the staff is really really nice.

It depends on what you are looking for and what you need. If you want a lot of free weights, sauna, etc, this may not be the place for you. Plenty of cardio and machines for my needs as an older guy.

Great location but There are not enough equipment and the gym is little small for the amount of people that workout.
