If I could give 0 stars,I would. Employees stealing customer items.

One of my favorite thrift spots for kids clothing. Check out their toy sections too. They're always changing and a great place to stock up for holidays and birthdays.

I was able to find my niece and nephew. Some great toys and clothes here for practically nothing because the prices were just on the money. I recommend coming here to get toys and clothes for practically nothing that you would pay three times more at another place or online.

Absolute terrible experience!! The store is way too backed up with clothes for them to even purchase, they don’t tell you that and just waste your time. the employees don’t fold your clothes when giving them back. also they were too busy playing and goofing around with halloween masks to be professional, and productive. 100% not worth going to unless you’re looking to not sell and buy super outdated old clothes.

Great store with fantastic prices. I've bought a ton of stuff for both my kids and everything was clean and in great condition. The staff is lovely and super helpful. Definitely recommend for anyone with young kids.

As a shopper this place rocks! Huge variety and decent prices. I always wait for special days or discount items because I have a throw away toddler that turns decent clothes into wash rags and trash due to stains, rips, tears, and other unknown clothing damages. If my kid ever needs shoes I am able to find a minimum of 2 pairs at decent prices each time. Good toy variety and this store always has the child raising essentials.

I'm not one to complain, I work retail as well so I know how things go to an extent, but this was pure laziness. I brought in a box of clothes and I could tell it wasn't all dug through. The top half was piled back into the box while the bottom half remained folded and placed exactly how I gave it to them. I'm not upset they weren't all sold, I could care less and will end up donating the leftovers, it was just the fact I could tell half of what I brought wasn't even looked at, at least make it look like it was.

Took two totes of items to sell, was told to wait for a text to pick up the leftovers. They never sent a pick up text and the next day sent a text saying if I didn't come pick up my items they would donate them. Felt extremely rude. Fast forward a week and I'm going through the box they gave me back so I can sell the stuff they didn't take. I noticed all the accessories to an expensive buzz lightyear costume are missing. The hood, gloves, and light up wings are all gone. I called the store and they said the log didn't show that they bought any buzz lightyear stuff, but since I didn't notice that they had taken the accessories before I left, there was nothing they could do. They were completely unwilling to look for the items and acted like it was my fault for not checking every item they were taking which was all stuffed together in a box. So now I cannot sell this costume or even give it away because it's missing all it's parts. If you take something without paying for it it's stealing, and they should have offered compensation for those pieces. The employees at the store are also very rude. Don't waste your time here.

OUAC in Kingsport is much better than this one! Took my autistic son in to pick out a toy. He chose a duck pop it toy. He was so excited and we were only in there a few minutes. I waited a couple minutes at the register while a staff member with dyed pink hair looked for a hair tie and another staff member went to the back. I wasn't told anything about the registers not working, so we continued to wait while my son was near meltdown. Finally, the staff member with the dyed hair said she could check us out. The staff member that walked past us earlier said, "no you're not, the registers are down". We would have really really appreciated knowing before we stood there waiting to check out for a while. We left and my little one didn't understand where the toy he picked out went. But we were just looked over while one staff member looked for a hair tie and one breezed past us without saying anything. They did apologize as we were toting our crying son out the door, but it would have been better if customer service was a priority and they had just told us that they couldn't sell anything so we didn't get my son's hopes up. However, we love the Kingsport location and staff so please check them out!

I visited this store and asked the employee that was outside if they was still open and he said would close in 30 min but was going to just look real quick anyway so went in and the size I need was down first isle and so was lookind when the same employee informed me that was where they stored their outside stuff so I couldn’t look there so told him thanks and would leave so that is what I did. Not a good way to sell stuff

I went to this location to exchange clothing and left very disappointed and embarrassed. The store is far from our house so we dropped off the clothes and ran errands in the area waiting for the text notifying me the clothes were ready. I never received the text after a few hours but it was too far to drive home and back so we went straight to the store and looked for clothing we could buy in exchange. After looking for awhile, I went to the front desk and asked when our clothes would be ready (we had a lot of clothing to trade in so I understood it would take awhile). The employee told me my clothes were ready so I got in line to process the exchange. At the point of sale, another employee came to me and said they could not accept any of my clothing because they had a smell to them. I was very embarrassed and honestly surprised because most of the clothes that I was trying to exchange were the same clothing I had during my last exchange. I was told during my previous visit that they bought clothing based on the season and the ones in the tote were not the seasonal type clothing and to bring them in again in a few months. Since my last visit, the tote was only opened once so I could neatly fold the clothing. The clothing has been in the same container in our upstairs bedroom since our last visit. We do not smoke or have pets upstairs and the clothing was washed prior to being put in the tote originally. After leaving the store, my husband and I smelled the clothes and didnt find a stinch to them. Regardless, the staff was kind to me and I was kind to them. What really made me angry is that we did not receive the text notifying us the clothing was ready or could not be accepted which I was told I would get when I signed in. If they only took a moment to open the tote and smell the clothing, I should have been notified at that time to pick them up as we would have picked them up and gone home without wasting our day in JC or looking for clothing to exchange after the employee told us they were ready. I would have appreciated a more honest and upfront approach.

With all is that hardness these day you would think going out shopping will be a good decent experience. I was greeted by an employee by the shorting section, she was nice at first. As for as what they offer for some brand new $40 dollars shoes was insane. $1.50 for some never wore shoes, they all literally preceded to rudely tell me “we don’t give much for shoes.” If you’re giving that much, then how much will you sell it. I just didn’t need 5 people at the same time telling me that I front of other customers. The whole experience didn’t feel like I was in a kids store, glad I didn’t bring my children in. Customer service, professionalism and integrity needs working*** thanks for the response, your employees could’ve said the exact words without being unprofessional. Lastly I’ve sold here before and came back in and the exact item was double the cost. If you’re giving $1.50 for shoes, then how much are you selling it for? Let’s be real and honest. Again goes back to integrity.
