Google has that the Gas n go is open until 11:30 pm, and I went to get gas at little after 10 pm. The gas n go was closed. So I called the manager of Food City and she said it closed at 10. I asked why Google has that it doesn't close till later she said they don't have anything to do with Google, and you still can get gas if you use a card. I said why the other location in Johnson City Gas n Go still open? She didn't know.

Just got back from food City. Will never go back to that place. Their prices are off the charts compared to Kroger. I shopped at food City for 18 yrs and since the Covid struck us they have raised their prices out of the working family and people hands that's on disability and welfare also where you come out with barely anything.. Kroger is at least 25% cheaper or around that stat. Kroger brand egg nog is 3.49 and food cities is 4.99 ,baked beans 1.69 at Kroger and 2.29 at food City. If you are close enough where you can go to Krogers I recommend to and drop food City and switch.

Food city is ok, except they’ll advertise buy one get one free but then you don’t get the second one free. The check out lady said “you’ll have to buy so many.” Yet the sign didn’t say anything about buying more than one. The customer service was good, easy to shop thru the store. Restroom was clean as well. I like the pick 5

A pretty good place to purchase gas, gas price is always competitive. You can enjoy the discounts given with food city purchases with the reward program, mostly fifteen cents a gallon up to twenty gallons, sometimes more. There's usually a working air pump to inflate tires, and takes a credit or debit card for usage.
