my situation with eastern eight has been nothing but a horror story trying to get help through them the USDA loan process the USDA federal government investigators. The whole process is nothing but a joke. If you think you're going to get a loan or get any help at all with housing assistance through this joke of a bunch of people, you got another thing coming. When I went through the homebuyers classes, they talked about predatory loan people. These are the same people who will build you up thinking you're going to get help and drop the ball over saying they didn't receive something they didn't receive an email they didn't you didn't respond to something they make every excuse in the world to keep people down, and I urge anyone who is trying to get a loan do not I repeat do not deal with these people unless you want heartache and be so disappointed that you really have nowhere else to turn. It's sad, but if you're a person who counts on any kind of assistance through the federal government your chances are very slim of getting any help from these people, especially if you're disabled, they've used my visual impairment against me, and never provided me with the reading material I needed so I can understand what they were saying, and what they were doing if they had a zero star, I would give it to them and don't expect any help from the government. They're all in cahoots.

Be aware. After renting a unit with eastern eight (D & K management) I was taken advantage of. My security deposit was not returned due to a technicality. After I paid my rent on time every month for s full 1 year lease, I was told because I didnt give a full 30 day notice. Therefore not entitled to it. I thought a one year notice was sufficient. In addition. The main reason I left was because of all the meth dealing, cooking going on there. After telling manger she told me there was nothing she could do about it. I was shocker. They portray how they're helping the lower income people but they are not what they seem. Very unhappy and totally truthful.

Eastern Eight was wonderful to work with. All the staff is polite and very knowledgeable. I got the pleasure to work with Janet Weaver. Janet went above and beyond and was very patient. I am now in my dream home and couldn't be happier.. Thank you all for everything you done for me and my family.

Eastern Eight CDC is true to their vision statement - their staff, especially Mark, showed us our way home. They walked us through the process by giving expert advice/guidance and factual information. I felt safe, valued, and heard throughout. I would recommend Eastern Eight CDC to anyone in northeast TN.

I cannot thank Eastern Eight enough for making my first time buying a house so smooth and easy. If you are a first time home buyer, or don’t know where to start when it comes to buying a house I highly suggest Eastern Eight!

I cannot begin to explain how wonderful Eastern Eight has been with helping me purchase my first home. As a first time home buyer, I knew very little; however, Eastern Eight really took the time to explain everything to me and were with me every step of the way. Mark Fleury was amazing to work with! He went above and beyond throughout the whole process, and responded to every one of my many many emails right away. I would 100% recommend Eastern Eight to anyone and everyone!

The people at eastern 8 work very hard to mske sure you have the hime you want!!! Theres people who go and buy cars after they are told not to who get disqualified and want to claim it was for other reasons. Theres also people who run up thier credit card debt then get mad and leave a bad review because they get disqualified.

I actually had my home built with eastern 8 back in 2008.. Reatha and Debbie were amazing.. they did all they could to make it happen for me.. had I not gone through them I would have had to buy a fixer upper home and something too small to accommodate my larger family..our family has never felt so blessed as the day me and my kids got the keys to our brand new home.....the last 9 years of being a home owner has been a great joy to have family gatherings around the fire pit in the fall and Christmas around the tree in the winter... I took up gardening to enhance the curb appeal to my home and just couldn't be more thankful for these ladies and their team of hard workers who helped me become a home owner..I will continue to refer everyone I know to them... thank you Eastern 8

There really needs to be a rating of ZERO because that is what they deserve. I realize others may have had a positive experience but not me. We have tried to go through this program twice and the employees always have different reasons why we don’t qualify. We get different answers from different employees. I personally know families who have made more money as well as families that make a lot less and they have qualified through this program and got assistance. This program uses YOUR tax dollars to provide a lower interest rate loan or help with closing costs or down payment for first time home buyers. I am a tax paying citizen as well as a veteran who fought for this great country and I guess I’m more disappointed than anything else. Eastern Eight reeks of discrimination. I have contacted my congressman, the fair & equal housing opportunity and a few other places. They have been an absolute complete waste of my time and energy. I urge people to seek assistance elsewhere.
