The N roan st location is good. I’ll give them that. Sometimes the front is hateful when getting a Togo order corrected even if it wasn’t any fault of your own. I dined in and had a better experience at the other location next to ETSU. Con queso dip and chips are 10/10!! Also the taco salad with black beans is so phenomenal. My go to for lunch or dinner.

Our table had house made spiral chips for an appetizer, so good! Then one had a half Memphis pizza, and another had a Mediterranean salad. Both were very large portions and fresh. We enjoyed our food and took a box of leftovers home. We couldn't resist taking key lime pie to go- so delicious! The service was very good, just a little slower when we visited due to several large groups and a packed restaurant. We will return. It is one of our favorite restaurants. They have an extensive menu, and we try something new every time. It is always delicious. My advice is always share a slice of key lime pie!

No clue why this amazing restaurant which serves some of the best Caribbean and inspired food I’ve ever had is located almost hidden from everyone that doesn’t already know it exists. I am pretty sure it is to keep it all to ourselves.First the atmosphere is not swanky or fancy, it is very basic in style but the decoration is so perfect and eclectic it is an excellent reason to stop in all by itself. The food is bar none some of the best BBQ and Caribbean inspired food you will find anywhere. Whether it is the jerked chicken, or the various sandwiches everything is great and the serving sizes are unreal. The Cooties Club made almost three meals for me.Last but definitely not least the dessert menu is amazing and constantly in flux. The key lime pie was better than EVERY key lime pie I had the week before in South Florida (five total slices from five different restaurants). All of this along side a road in East Tennessee hidden over a hill from the interstate without billboards or signs.

My wife and I came to Johnson City for a weekend away and we didn't know where to eat. We were told to go check out Pals so we did but they were wrapped around the building, so we drove around and came upon Cootie Brown's. We stopped in and were greeted by some of the friendlest people ever.We checked out the menu and it was a hodgepodge of everything. Nachos, burgers, pizza, BBQ, chicken, vegetarian, this place literally has something for everyone. My wife ordered the sandwich and it was amazing. I can't remember the name of it, but it was kinda like a Philly cheese steak, but with out the peppers and onions. The chips were homemade and delicious.I got the full rack of ribs because I'm an idiot and I didn't realize how big it was. The meat was falling off the bone. It was so delicious. I got the roasted sweet potatoes and BBQ baked beans for my sides. The sweet potatoes were awesome. I think they're was a little too much BBQ sauce in the baked beans, but they were still good.We got some deserts as well. The key lime pie and raspberry pie were so great. I'm not a big fan of raspberries, but it was my favorite of the two.I think I've had better BBQ, but I certainly cannot remember when. We will be coming back when we pass through Johnson City again. Also our server, Mason, was fantastic. She was super attentive and took very good care of us.All in all, this is the place to eat in Johnson City in my opinion.

We went looking for bbq which really isn't their thing. Ended up with pizza and salads which were very good. The side salad was large with lots of toppings. The pizza was also fairly large and it was covered in cheese and pepperoni. The crust was thin and cheese had made it crispy and awesome. We were pleasantly surprised. Our server checked on us often but didn't hover. Great experience overall

This particular location is one of our favorite places to eat. Love atmosphere and lively vibe. Cool decor and friendly hostess and servers. Oh yeah... great food, too! My favs are the Shrimp Po Boy, Tamales, and Key Lime Pie. We also like their Pizza as well.

We had a business lunch here this week. The service was good overall. The food came out quickly, and the jerk chicken had great flavor. The asparagus was seasoned well, but the sweet potatoes were a little under cooked. Iconic restaurant for the area.
