I called to get the price of an oil change on my truck. The woman who answered (who I later found out was the assistant manager), did not know what a RAM truck was. She then got an attitude with me when I told her the price she gave me seemed low. Yes...an attitude when I was ensuring they had the right price. Her attitude got so bad, I asked to speak to the manager. When he sent me back to her to schedule, she continued with the attitude...cutting me off when I tried to speak, sarcastic comments, rudely rushed me off the phone. I called back and the manager answered. I told him about her unprofessionalism and wanted to be sure she even put me down for an appointment. He was great to speak with, professional, listened, etc. I would highly recommend some new training for her and put her on written notice. With her not just moving forward from some perceived issue, she will cost the company business in the long run. The 3 stars are only because of the manager, Jeff.

Chris was super friendly, he was very knowledgeable about what my vehicle needed, he explained what needed to be done, he quoted me a price that was exactly what he charged for the repairs, there were no hidden costs, he showed me the parts he replaced and explained what caused the issue, he got the repairs done super quick, he was honest, his prices were much better than anyone else I had spoke with, he treated me with respect, and has definitely won my business for future car repairs. I've been looking for a mechanic that would not try to rip me off or take advantage of me for awhile and I went to him based off of a lot of other reviews and comments I had seen. So glad I found him and will definitely be back. This was just a great overall experience and I will definitely recommend him to others.

My car has been through 6 different shops trying to get 1 certain locking bolt off of one wheel so I could get my tires replaced and these were the only guys to do it!! The dealership for my car brand offered to cut it off/replace the whole wheel itself for 10x the price and 2 weeks longer than it took for these people to get it out and replace it. They even stayed late after hours because they knew I had a long drive to get back to school the next day. Extremely personable, kind, and they didn't talk to me like I didn't know anything about cars. Nothing but respect for these people! When they called that they were actually able to fix my car I got so excited and brought them donuts. I will always recommend these folks to anyone in the Tri-cities for anything they need fixed!!

Been taking both our cars here for any type of problem and all oil changes. Jeff always is so helpful and knowledgeable. The staff are very friendly and have done all repairs and service with great skill. I am surprised at some previous reviews, as every time I am there in waiting room ~ every person 100% of the time is telling me they have been going there for years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Getting your vehicle worked on is expensive, but I have found them to be very fair in their prices. As you can see they are always busy, they have many returning customers. Jeff always lets me know approximately how long it will take. Lots of time, I will call in advance and see when is a good time to bring my car in for oil change. Never waited over 30 min. Highly recommend this family owned business!

The guy up front is friendly enough but the service is sooooo slow. If you are in hurry I don't recommend this place. I did appreciate that they provide coffee but I did not appreciate the leaky coffee pot which they are apparently fully aware of and seem to be ok with potentially burning their customers. I am sure they did a fine job of changing my oil but I feel like I could have gone somewhere more reasonable and faster.

Precision tune auto care is an extremely dishonest company. Do not come here unless you are okay with people blatantly lying to your face. I visited this company for an oil change and to diagnose a squeaking noise coming from under my hood. After several hours they said that my alternator was bad and it needed to be replaced. It was costly, however, I trusted them to do it right so I did not think too much about it. While they were working on the car, I went to an auto parts store to pick up a new air filter because I knew it needed to be changed. I picked up the car and headed home. I went to change the air filter and noticed the old one was FILTHY. It had bugs and flowers all throughout it. I knew it was time to swap it out but I thought it was peculiar that they did not mention anything. While under the hood I also noticed ALL my fluids were low. By low I mean almost completely empty. I decided to check the tire pressure and 2 of my tires were at 26 PSI and the other 2 were at 30 when they should all be at 32. The next day I brought the car in again and voiced my problems. After not even receiving any apology at all, they said they would check it over. I did not receive a call all day and stopped by right before they closed to see if the car was done. This time when I got home, I checked to see all my fluids were filled, however, the tires were STILL at 26 PSI. So after 2 trips, they could still not finish the job correctly. I spent nearly 500 dollars for them to not fill my fluids or check my tire pressure. Worst of all they had marked that these things were checked on my invoice. If they half-assed a basic oil change service, what else did they half a*** Do NOT bring your car here. Terrible service and even worse customer service. Take your money ANYWHERE else and you will be much better off. It's not the fact that things were not filled up, mistakes happen. It's the fact that they lied to me and said they were done. I tried to give them a second chance and even still they could not get it done. I'm posting this review not to get any sort of compensation, but to WARN others looking to get their car worked on. I'm just thankful it was me and not someone who doesn't know a thing about cars.

Nice guys, but they tried charging me almost a grand for a supposed oil leak. I took to another place and paid a fraction of that price to get the ignition coil replaced. They either don't know what they're doing or they tried ripping me off

My only gripe is that I have to take the car to a second place because they failed to mention to me that the car needed oil. You think if they spend a day and a half with the vehicle they would have noticed it and mentioned it along with the list of other things wrong with the car. Great fix, but now I have to go either there again or to a second place to get an oil change. Major inconvenience. My guess is the other fluids weren't topped off either.

The weather is getting cold, my 2007 Hyundai Santafe battery is getting bad. I changed my battery since 2014. I could not start my car on that day, I know that it will be the battery problem. On the October 19, I walked to the Precision Tune Auto Care, the one next to the ETSU campus, I told them what happened to my car then one man gave me a towing company to call so they could tow my car to their shop to look at. The worker check on my car for 30 mins and still do not know what is wrong with it. Later on, one man gave me a price statement shows 916 dollars, he told me that the "Fuel Pump" is not good, and it should be change. I ask him, is it the only problem with this car, and I could start the car after you put new one on? He said, yes, everything will be good after you change the pump. So I agreed with him to do so. Few hours later, I walked back to the store see my car has been fixed. I paid the bill and put the key on and the car could not start again, so he jump start for me then told me it will be ok in the future. Second day, my car could not run again, I was totally mad, I took to another body shop near my house in the Knoxville, they told me it just the battery problem so they put a new one on, and I could start the car every single time now! In general, do not going to this place, this is a place try to charge you a price so high and not even solve your primary problem. I know they got me this time, but I do not want they will get more people and my friends. Me and my friends will never ever go back to this place. This place is so awful and try to make as much money they out of you.

I have had the best experiences the two times I've taken my car to them. I travel extensively and am only here part time. They have been truly helpful and seem to care about the customer. They are through and look for all avenues to take care of the problem. I'll be back and I would recommend you give them a try
