I have seen other comments about their prices and yes, they are a bit expensive, but in my experience they are a fantastic veterinary practice! I trust my animals with them and have always received top-notch care from them. I have several cats and will be rescuing another stray cat next week that I have built trust with. The staff here know me by name and know my pets by name. I have never had a bad experience with these fine folks and the care my pets receive is always top-notch. I've been with them for almost a year and a half now and I couldn't be happier. When I take my kitties there, I know they will get the best health services money can buy.

The entire staff of Cherokee Hospital for Animals has been so kind and skilled at taking care of my dog! They are clear communicators and so professional. We have used them for regular checkups, spay surgery, and overnight boarding with only wonderful experiences. Highly recommend the amazing staff here for any pet needs!

If you like being scammed and overcharged and talking to a bunch of salesman that care way more about bottom line than your pet this is the vet for you! I leave feeling gross every time I walk in here, as soon as I can afford a new vet, and to do a new vet exam again, I am dropping this place so fast please do yourself a favor and never get started with these guys! Blech.

Wanted be accused of lying about 1 flea medication left out of bag after going there years and years & being charged $500 and over every visit? Want your dog to have razor burns? Then this will be the vet for you.. They are absolutely one of the most expensive vets!! Read the reviews!! But wait!! They' will give you a couple dollars for being old!!

Finally we found a hospital that follows current vaccine protocols and went did the work to be a member of AAHA. The Dr spent time with us, answered questions, and all staff was welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be returning with our other pets.

My dog baby hasn't complained yet and neither have I. They seem to be really good with him. I watch his mannerisms more since during covid we can not enter the building with our fur babies. The people are very friendly. And he even received a report card after his visit.

Biggest scam artists in Johnson City. Pet owners beware. They always quote you a price and when you show up to drop your dog off they always try to add and extra "needed test.." of $30-40.. this happened to us 4x before we got tired of it. Not surprising their ratings are so low. Beware!!

Took very sick dog to this hospital, they were very rude and was not accepting any more patients. Very, very unsatisfied. Even had the nerve to tell me very rudely when I entered the door with my pet for excessive bleeding "You need to go back out that door and call us. Can't you read the sign?" Then when I call them from trhe parking lot and explained the situation I was told "We are not accepting any more patients at this time. I had to leave there with my sick pet and drive all the way across town to EasyVet Clinic on Peoples St. and I was welcomed and my pet and I were taken in immediately and now my pet is receiving the treatment she deserves. I would NOT advise anyone to take their sick pet to Cherokee Hostipital if you are needing immediate care.
