Supporting this store is essentially supporting the exploitation of young females for illegal, unfair labor and wage practices by this employer. The owner of this store violates basic state and federal labor laws by neglecting to pay employees in a timely manner, if at all. As a previous emolyeee, it was a month and a half before I saw my first paycheck. It was not in the amount that was advertised in the job listing nor did it meet minimum wage. The owner was able to get by with this because he had not yet put me on payroll, so it was essentially undocumented, untaxed labor. It was confirmed that to me that he was doing this to several of his employees and probably all, in reality. Mr. Morrow, the owner of this business, clearly preys on younger working-age females assuming that most will not contest his illegal practices as long as they receive “almost minimum wage†“eventually.â€

The employees of the store are very nice, knowledgeable, and willing to help out. However, that's where the positivity ends. The store seems quite cluttered. The owner/manager makes sexual comments/advances towards employees in front of customers that is very off putting. I would not recommend spending your hard earned money here.

On one of their Facebook pages I asked if they cary plus sizes. After a few days the post came up and I had no response but the comment below mine had a reply. I then told them "I'm assuming you don't, you don't have to ignore an honest question, I'll continue to shop at Delta Designs". So instead of simply saying no, to my first request, they ignored me and then deleted both of my comments. I'll be sure to let everyone know about your prompt customer service. A simply "no" would have done just fine Whispering Tree.
