Our four year old Australian Shepherd has seen Dr. Edwards at Northside Animal Clinic from the beginning for all his checkups and medical needs. We couldn’t be more pleased with the staff there. They are knowledgeable, efficient, professional and very caring. We trust them in helping us make the best decisions for our best boy.

We switched vets after our favorite vet cut down her days. So switching was a big deal. We had heard good things about Northside. So we tried it five years ago. I’m so glad we did. Dr. Dabney and Dr. Edwards care about our babies. They care about us. That’s all you can ask for in someone caring for your animals. I love the vet nurses as well. One week, I was gone out of town and my dog had to have medicine. My husband was having a hard time and the vet nurse had him bring the dog to the clinic to help my husband. They go above and beyond. Thankful for this vet family.

My experience with Dr. Lauren Dabney and her assistant was absolutely wonderful. You can tell they really care about your pet and I can’t say enough great things about them. The receptionists were great as well.

This was my first time. The wait time was very short even though they were busy. The vet we saw took his time with us and was very professional. He definitely had my dog’s and my best interest! Highly recommend

They worked us in to a busy schedule when we had an emergency with our dog. They were professional, friendly, and comforting when the decision to euthanize our dog had to be made.

I’m new to the area and tried a few local vets , hands down Northside Animal Clinic deserve more than 5 stars !!! I have a chihuahua mix and he gets nervous but he allowed the staff and Dr. Dabney to check him fully. I was very happy how the whole visit went. They are all warm , friendly , compassionate, knowledgeable and very thorough. I would definitely recommend Northside!!!

Very disappointed and devastated. I took my precious baby here because of all the high reviews, since I am new to Jackson. New patients beware. I am not sure if Dr. Edward's was having a bad day, or misunderstood my extreme concern, or just simply didn't care. Either way, my baby was diabetic and had a mouth issue that made her stop eating. This is obviously an emergency as she was diabetic. Dr. Edward's barely examined my baby. His tech seemed more interested than him. I felt in my gut that she was developing ulcers in her mouth (common with diabetes)... he told me she just simply has gingivitis and needs her teeth cleaned. We ran a blood test and he said that her sugar was elevated... he did not tell me that it was EXTREMELY elevated. She came back home in worse shape than when we left. I took her to her previous vet the next day and it was too late. Her sugar was almost 500 at this clinic and they didn't hospitalized her nor try to help her. They didn't even let me know her sugar was that high. By the time I took her to old clinic, it was too late. She entered ketoacidosis and had to be put down. Also, I was right. Her old doctor confirmed that she had mouth ulcers. I am devastated and very disappointed. Please be careful taking your furbabies to ANY vet. Regardless of the high praising reviews. ?
