Terrible management plan. Waited thirty minutes to check out and when asked manager, was told you should just wait or shop elsewhere.

I'm sorry I have to leave this review. After meeting Mr.Chuck and talking with him I feel he's committed. However, you have got a lot of work to do. 3 strikes and your out : Strike one : I've noticed a few times that I've been in the store. And have seen people arguing and even fighting. This has happened twice in the produce area. Strike Two : As I'm waiting to make a left turn into a parking spot with my turn indicator on. Waiting for the car in front of me to move forward. the second spot from the front door on a rainy day. When an employee named Linda whipped into the spot looking right at me with my turn indicator on. So I parked in another spot. She stayed in her car until I went in the store. After I got my shopping cart, she came walking in and I told her that was rude. We got in a little argument. And then she crossed the line when she said - I have something for you turned around and walked out of the store, going back to her car . I wonder Mrs Linda what do you have for me. I don't take to threats kindly. I continued into the store to do my shopping. I requested to speak to the day manager. I made her aware of the threat. I was told I approached her in the lobby first and they're not doing anything about it. I disagree. It began when your employee whipped into a parking spot that she clearly saw I was sitting waiting for first. The day manager, a heavyset woman. With very poor management skills. Unable to have a conversation without being rude and making faces in anger as she speaking. I just walked out and called Mr. Chuck the next day, and we spoke. Strike three : As I'm driving down Highland going to the market. A bright blue Kia four-door car driving in the fast lane going 15 miles under the speed limit. As I went around her, I could see that she was texting on her phone. Then down the road she comes whipping around me throws on her brakes and starts flipping me the finger yelling out of her window.. As we come to the stoplight, she starts yelling again and flipping me off hanging out her window. Like some crazy person. Only to find out, she works at Kroger's. Because when I pulled into the parking lot and park to go in. She jumps out of her car, screaming at me calling me a f----en Nig---. I couldn't believe it. I told her she's obviously seeing a reflection of herself. I'm an older white man. And I don't do ghetto. Again, I got in my car and left. The store has become very concerning at times with a group of people. It seems like the inmates have taken over the store. So Mr. Chuck, you have your work cut out for you. You have a responsibility to ensure a safe environment for your shoppers and other employees. I have spoken to a few of them and they see this as well. It's seems it's OK for some of your employees to threaten your customers. It's not OK.!!! And the amazing thing is, every time it's been a certain group. Why is that ?

Bought your $10 Parmesan coated chicken breast last week. Instructions said to put aluminum foil in pan and spray with pam. Cool one side 400 for 10 minutes then flip and cook 10 to 15 minutes more. Did as directed. The chicken would not flip and when it did most of the coating stuck and lost it. The other side had very little coating to start with. Not good and disappointed especially with the $10 cost and groceries are already out the roof.

Kroger stores here in Jackson, TN are the worst grocery stores that I have experienced. In other places that I have lived I have been well satisfied with Kroger. These stores are the pits.

Pleasant Shopping Experience with a Minor Hiccup:I recently visited the Kroger on Univ. Pkwy. in Jackson, TN, and overall, my experience was quite positive. The store boasted a nice organization that made my shopping trip efficient and enjoyable. One of the standout features was the friendly and helpful staff. The employees at this Kroger location were approachable and eager to assist customers. Their positive attitude added a pleasant touch to my overall shopping experience. However, my enthusiasm was momentarily dampened when I came across a loaf of moldy bread on one of the shelves. It was disappointing to see a product in such condition, but I was pleased with how the situation was handled. I promptly brought it to the attention of a store employee, who took immediate action to address the issue. This incident, while a hiccup in an otherwise smooth experience, highlighted the store's commitment to customer satisfaction and the importance they place on maintaining quality standards.Despite this minor setback, I would still rate the Kroger on Univ. Pkwy. with four stars. The well-organized layout, friendly employees, and the swift response to the moldy bread incident demonstrate the store's dedication to providing a positive shopping environment. I will continue to shop at this Kroger location, confident that they prioritize customer satisfaction and product quality.

Just wanted to comment on the Jackson stores this past week. My husband went to 2 of the Kroger stores on Thurs. afternoon and he said the shelves were empty. We knew this weather was coming for 2 weeks. Why didn't they better prepare? Wish we had some competition. Gigi

Recently visited here on 1/6 at 4:30 p.m. and was completely dissatisfied with the customer service. A young lady dressed in all black that is a self checkout attendant was having a personal conversation on the phone instead of assisting customers. A man needed assistance and asked her for help, she then told him that he can help himself and went back to her personal phone conversation. I needed assistance with ID verification and she told me that shes going to tell somebody else to help me. I have no idea why Kroger would assign someone to a job that requires to help customers if they lack proper customer service and completely against helping customers. Management needs to step up and fire those that do not uphold the values of kroger.

They are supposed to thrown sushi out at the end of the day but are selling 1-2 day old sushi. I paid 15$ for a rainbow roll that was absolutely rancid.

This (and all Krogers I have been to) is so poorly run. I just don't come here unless it's something very small or quick that I need, then I get here and remember they can't help me. The prices are astronomical for the exact same products I can get at Walmart cheaper. They are invariably out of what I need. If the thing I need requires a person to help me, that person can't be found. Coming here is extremely frustrating. I realize it's a me problem because I keep trying every few months, but I really don't need to come to this (or any) Kroger again. I'm not getting anywhere but disappointed.

This is the best Kroger store in Jackson! We love the cheese department. We can always find the cheese we need there. We also love the meat department. The staff is always so helpful and will always take the time to help you find what you need. The seafood is always great. The seafood manager is wonderful and also her assistant manager he is so helpful and friendly. Very clean and organized store. Produce is always fresh. We like their fresh mushroom selections.
