I was just in this store and when i walked in to do a little shopping an employee tells me very rudely that i had 9 minutes! She was the rudest woman to all the customers in the store! When i was trying to finish my shopping she locks the door and sent another girl back there where i was shopping to tell me "we're closed". I came up to the register and was trying to be nice anyways and she was giving me this evil look and silence that could have shot a deer! I told her to have a good day and she just walks over to the door to let me out and still that evil look on her face and rudely puts her hand on her hip waiting for me to get out. This girl has done me this way many times and i doubt very seriously i will be shopping at this store anymore! She is hateful, rude, mean, disrespectful and spiteful! I am 57 years old and that is disrespectful to treat an older woman that way!

Poor excuse of employee don’t care about the business of dollar general store they new hire that going care about a family business now this days you can’t hire anybody because they just care about pay check that’s it poor excuse of employee

I live in Memphis, Tennessee. I went inside of the Dollar General store location (. . .# 6598. . .) at 1028 Campbell Street in Jackson, Tennessee on Monday, August 7th to complete a debit card money load transaction. I attempted to tell the cashier (. . .shown in the first photo. . .) that I have to insert my debit card at least twice before being prompted to swipe it along the magnetic stripes inside of card readers. The manager (. . .shown in the second and third photos. . .) took great exception to me telling the cashier how I have to use that particular debit card. She made an attempt to condescend in an abrasive tone by saying, "I am trying to help you." (I never requested to receive any assistance from the cashier nor the manager in using my own debit card.) I made an attempt to deflect the negativity by saying, "You are doing a great job in helping me." She then attempted to condescend once more by saying, "I hope that you are not being sarcastic." I attempted to ignore her at that point. She went on to make attempts to taunt me at the register. The cashier and the manager ultimately refused to complete the debit card money load transaction. The manager also stated that she would call for members of law enforcement to come to the store location. I returned to the store at approximately 5:43 p.m. to take photos of the cashier and the manager. They were standing directly outside of the store (a.) completely out of their uniforms and (b.) smoking cigarettes. (The cashier is shown in the first photo literally standing directly in front of the front entrance as well.) I never exited from my vehicle. The manager said, "Do I need to clock out so I can beat you the fuck up?!" She went on to direct shouting and the usage of more profanity at me directly outside of the store. I have tried to exercise the utmost patience. I have not received a comprehensive update from Brianna Taylor since Monday, August 7th.

This store is one to avoid. As I was shopping, one of the employees kept walking around and following me, and when I tried to check to make sure my hair color was intact and still in the box she said, "You better pay for that." I explained that I was just checking to make sure nothing had been stolen, as I have bought many items that had been missing when I opened them and was never allowed a refund, to which she sneered at me and said, "Not on my shelves." And then proceeded to stalk me for the remainder of my time there. Rude, inattentive, literal stalking, and complacent harassment. Do. NOT. Go. There.

I was accused of stealing. I was just shopping like I regular customer, looking at some candles. Next thing I know, my clothes are being described over the intercom system and I'm being told that the cops are on the way. I went to the front counters and tried to explain to them that they were mistaken. I even emptied out my pockets to show them that I had nothing. I asked them how could I prove that I'm innocent, but they weren't hearing it. Some lady picked up the phone and began calling the police as I was attempting to explain my self. Unless I get a personal apology from both of those lairs, I will never shop there again.

Very dirty, all the way from the parking lot to the shelves not being stocked. I wish someone from district would crack a wipe on them. Horrible state for a store that was just remodeled.
