Well 2 months ago. I had to get my transmission replaced in a 2015 Ford fusion. Costly .. but went ahead and done it. Took 3 weeks, got my car back rearview camera was all jacked up. Front bumper won't stay in place going over 50mph . Missing screws and all clips in fender well both sides. Gone... State. That when I dropped my car off with bad transmission the camera still worked completely fine...so I picked it up as they was locking doors on Friday. Called them Monday morning to tell them my camera was messed up. They said bring it by. Sydney was his name.. bring it buy. He was being a smartass saying sometimes things like that happen. But replacing transmission had nothing to do with camera... false!!! But I got a good buddy that works at Ford dealership.set up appointment for me.. a week later I take car to Ford dealership and talk to a guy named Brandon. Service manager... Runs diagnostic on it. Basically tells me it's my camera nothing his buddy Sydney done at Coleman. Need new camera. In paperwork it states ran all diagnostic cameras bad.. tried to charge me 300 for the diagnostic that Coleman set up.. but anyways.. states 350 for new camera. Get camera same issue .. literally... Brandon the service manager at Ford in Jackson TN. Or Coleman Taylor/ Sydney full of shit!!! Still ongoing ordeal!!!!
Update!! Went and took it today 11/5 7:30am. Kept it until 5pm. promised to be fixed. To me calling them at 4:30 and they telling me it was ready! Assuming.. As in they fixed it! Get there. Get in contact with John. The manager... Only to tell me they didn't fix it... And showed me himself. They scanned and no issue coming in the day I brought it with camera.. so as conversation went on. One of the techs. Sterling Hutchinson. ?? Is His name.. barges in on conversation openlying and admitted he worked on it and when he pulled into the bay it worked... Then proceeds to get an attitude and in my personal space. Obsurd. Luckily he was still at work or would have suffered consequences... Today's experience was horrible. Most definitely reaching out to main office 8am sharp!!! What a professional place!!

I can't say enough good things about John and the Team at Coleman Taylor Transmission.
If there is a nightmare vehicle it is mine. I took it in on July 17th because the vehicle would not go in reverse. John checked it out and determined it was the transmission. They rebuilt it and I got it back early August.
After having it a couple days the same symptoms resurfaced. I took it back in and John honored the warranty. He purchased all new components and rebuilt my transmission again at no additional cost to me. I got it back after Labor Day!
After driving it a few more days new symptoms arose as well as the original symptoms. This time John came to the house to check it out and determined new issues arose related to the transmission but were very intermittent. He had me drop off the car again. This time he had the car for 2 months. He had Ford come out and check the computer and update the computer. He also took it to a mechanic to have them trace all the electrical to ensure no electrical issues. All this at no additional cost to me. Once determined it was still the transmission he purchased a replacement housing and all new parts for the final rebuild.
He delivered the car to the house for the inconvenience of being without a vehicle for months. He also restarted the 3 year 36,000 mile warranty.
Anyone else would have washed their hands of the vehicle a long time ago and either gave the money back or left it to me to prove it was the transmission. This was an unusual issue and extremely difficult to diagnose and resolve. Coleman Taylor stuck with it until it was resolved.
I would highly recommend them for all your transmission needs!

It took four weeks to get our car back, but it seems to be working perfectly now. It was not cheap, but nothing is cheap anymore.

The transmission on my wife’s 2016 Escape began slipping unexpectedly so we parked it to avoid more damage. Colman Taylor advertises free diagnostics and they have a good reputation both publicly and word of mouth so we had it towed in. When I dropped it off I told them that if it needed a total rebuild that there was a possibility that we may not go forward with the repair. It ended up needing a total rebuild and we decided to not have it repaired. They arraigned to have it towed back to my house and I paid for towing both ways. The bottom line is they did what they advertised and said without any pressure. Yes I would recommend them and if the repair was anything other than a total rebuild we would have had them do the work.

Kudos to John and TJ at Coleman Taylor. I am so thankful. These guys are top notch, after 50 years of business I would feel comfortable saying Coleman Taylor only employees the best, you don’t stay in business that long and not.
I live an hour away and after receiving a bad transmission diagnosis from a local Nissan dealership that was going to cost me $7000 to fix, I wanted a second opinion. I called Coleman Taylor and talked to TJ and he said get it to him, I drove to Jackson and after he and John looked at it, they decided it was a wheel bearing and not the transmission. HONEST!! I had already been given a quote for a new transmission, this is where my trust was gained. They could have sold me a transmission at a better price than 7 grand but instead referred me to Sterling Automotive to have wheel bearing replaced. Now my car is back to perfection. $400 later.
HONEST! RELIABLE! TRUSTWORTHY!!
That’s what we all want.
I’m bringing them donuts next time I’m around. ?

We just had a driver getting bad codes for transmission in Jackson TN. They got him in right away and told us what the issue was that should be taken care of back in Georgia. They got the vehicle working good enough to get him headed back to GA. Everyone was so nice!
