Pre-paid online with my chime debit and everything went through and was given confirmation number, then I drive 30 miles to pick up my rental and get told that they don't take chime so I asked why I wasn't told that and she said that system didn't know that it was chime. I asked what do I do and she rudely told me I would have to call a number to get my money refunded and it would take up to 10 days to get my money back. I tried to explain that I drove 30 miles and had no other form of payment she laughed and said it wasn't her problem! I will not recommend budget to anyone. Very sorry customer service.

I wish there was a way to give less that 1 star. This company is an absolute joke. If you're looking for hours of runaround, ridiculous fees, heartache, and employees that try to intimidate you, please use this disgusting excuse of a business!! The location I used is 100 Commerce Center Cir, Jackson, TN 38301. The employee that tried to intimidate me was an older black man, tall, glasses, dreadlocks and a graying beard. Was incredibly rude and unhelpful, and refused to give me information to contact a customer support line, any sort of managerial referencing, and wasn't wearing a name tag. Overall the most miserable experience I've ever had renting a car, this is utter trash.

I hate this place so much. The staff is rude and don't know how to talk to people. Had to wait almost 2 hours on a phone call, this place is ridiculous.

Crazy that they will not let you rent a car with cash app considering you can rent with cash at enterprise ...smh what a shame

I have spent the last 2.5 hr on the phone. Gave all information to include bank information to purchase. Then disconnected. No email, nothing. Called back, no information on me. Started process again. Disconnected again. Called back, run around again. I will never entertain calling them bsck.

READ ALL OF THE REVIEWS BEFORE RENTING HERE!There really need to be a Zero Star option. After paying the deposit, we were told they couldn’t rent us a car and it would be at least 48 hours before we got a refund. Employees were miserable my rude and calling customer service is a joke.

Salesperson was surly and unhelpful. Had to refund and re-rent because my husband rented the car for me and I couldn’t pick it up without the card used being in my name, which tied up an extra $190 on my bank account for who knows how long. “Full” gas tank only had 3/8 tank. Lot looks like an abandoned set off The Walking Dead.

Tired to call the company location here in Jackson tn twice, the phone was answered by a machine. While “switching” me from the machine to a representative the call hung up, both times. Never spoke to a representative, the machine was more helpful than the company.

Worst experience I have ever had with renting a vehicle. I made a reservation on New Year's Day prepaid $300 received my confirmation. Showed up to pick up vehicle and was told we have no vehicles and your payment will be refunded in three to four business days. The lady behind the counter told me it was my fault for making a reservation on New Year's Day because they were closed. Call customer service and they said sorry nothing we can do. I will never do business with budget again. I wish I read them reviews about the employees they have working there. Lady at front desk need to be fired.
