I went to Visionworks for years, but my insurance changed and this was the next place in network. When I say this is the Dollar General of eye doctors, I mean it ? rude staff who treats you like you shopping there is inconvenient, Rx's wrong on multiple people's glasses, frames bent all out of wack on delivery. I wouldn't bring my blind dog here. If an eye Dr took EBT this would be it, talk about a nasty trashy outdated place where no one gets treated good, and everyone gets treated like a nuisance. I'll be going back to my old Dr out of network and forking the cost difference, because you get what you pay for. If the 2002 Ford Taurus with busted shocks was an Optometrist, it would be on blocks at 119 Stonebrook Pl Suite A. Maybe if you buy enough upcharged services they could get a pair of glasses right ?on the flip side, if you don't like someone, speak high praises of America's Best and send them here, they'll be miserable!

We came in to fix my brothers glasses. Let me say this My mom used to be a manager at America's best in GA. So she knows how a store is supposed to be run. We walk in, and no one really acknowledges that we are around. No one is at the reception desk ( which there is supposed to be someone there at ALL times), but apparently, they have her the option to leave early, and she did. There were 3 customers that needed to be assisted. There was no welcome to America's best. We will be with you in a moment and not to be picky, but that is required to be nice. After a while, they asked us what we needed. Something had fallen out of my brother's glasses, and again, because my mom worked there, she knew what he needed. She did fix them fast and cleaned them, and we were good to go. A family got annoyed and left because they didn't get assisted or even talked to. Your customers should not be leaving the store if they need help. Also, everyone who needs to know the reviews you leave on here affects the store points and the people's commition they value the reviews. And just by reading some already this store needs to get it together!

Could be better. Some of the workers are nice. As for the Gm Christine. She needs an attitude adjustment. Way over price for low quality items. Heaven help the the ones that have to come out pocket. For how the cost is even the bells and such. You are better off going else were. Just make sure you read the fine print they have before you even do your eye exam

The associate helping me choose frames, lenses, etc. rushed me through because she had somewhere to go. I felt as though I needed more time to choose as it’s a big decision and cost. I left with only one pair when I’m sure I would have changed sen 2 given the discount. I was very disappointed in the customer service. Thanks Teresa!

My first time going was 2/3/24.They were very packed I had an appointment at 10:40am was there at 10:20 got signed in and was told to be seated.I was there almost an hour before I noticed that they still haven't called my name right along with this other guy.I waited a few more minutes before I went to the desk. The lady act like she couldn't find my folder it wasn't even in the basket where it belongs. So then finally I got called to one room and then the other room. Then on to pick out my glasses did that sat down with the lady to go over glasses and other things for the glasses then to come to find out we can't proceed until they get in touch with my insurance company. So they say they can't get in touch with them Saturday but they will call me Monday still nothing but I have insurance.I been calling America Best all day and they still haven't did anything yet.Bad experience

Received text on 12/22/2023 that my glasses were ready to be picked up. Prescription was wrong. Was told they would have to remade. Got another call the following week telling me again that they were ready for pickup. So I call only to find out they had NOT been sent back yet. As soon as I hung up the phone it rang again with a recording saying that that were ready to pickup. As of 01/10/2024 I still have NO glasses?. I will NEVER make this mistake again!!! This was in in Jackson, TN

The optometrist, Brook, & the apprentice, Jeromy Jones were A-1. Jacob was great too. I called to explain that I wear progressive lenses & how would that affect the offer they were advertising. I needed to know about how much $$ to bring. I have a certain amount I could spend. I chose them because of the offers. The lady told me I could get 2 pair of eyeglasses & an eye exam for $250.00 I am not going to put her name on this review. But I wanna say. They need to be informed of the different prices for different prescriptions, etc. This lady was not.To make it short. Im not happy about being misinformed & about the price I had to pay. I had to pay more than I can afford. I wont have any extras on my glasses & had to get bifocals with Lines!!! I get No Warranty.Jeromy Jones was Excellant!!! He did everything possible to help. He was AWESOME!!!! Very disappointed. And NEVER will I ever shop there again.

My wife and I went in first appointment, was treated like royalty when met Jeremy Jones, was super helpful and made sure that were completely satisfied before we left, would recommend him to everyone, a breath of fresh air, so glad Ms. Teresa didn't want to serve my wife, seeing the dilemma, Mr. Jones took great care of us

Edit:The reply from America's Best is a joke. If they really cared, it isn't hard to look up my information from my visit.Original review:This is my local branch. There are some nice people here, but also some very rude ones. On 9-26, I picked up a replacement pair of glasses, and the lady who assisted me acted like I was a burden. I didn't get my glasses fully adjusted because I just wanted to get away from her.I will go to another location and have them adjusted. Until then, I can't wear my glasses all the time because they will cause blisters.Don't go to this location.

I was satisfied with the quality of care I received in screening and the examination of my eyes at the visit. I am disappointed that I must make a second visit for contact fitting as they did not have my prescription available in the store. I am also disappointed that it is expected to take up to 14 days for the sample contacts to arrive before my prescription can be finalized and provided to me to purchase my lens. I am unlikely to return for future examinations. I must emphasize that the contract care provider was exceptional, it is the retail limitations and practices that will dissuade me from returning. I am also unlikely to purchase my contacts here as the pricing I was provided was substantially more than I can get elsewhere.

First of all I, nor my aunt who ordered glasses too, was never contacted that my order was ready. After 3 weeks I called and they said they were ready and that I should’ve been contacted by an automated system. We were not but ok. I told the woman that answered the phone that we would come in later that day. We live 2 hours away. We arrived at 4 o’clock only to be told that we could not pick up our glasses (900.00 worth of glasses btw) because they had to be checked by an optician and there were none there at the time. All 3 that were there earlier had left for family emergencies at noon. On a Friday. I exploded that I paid for them, they were mine, give them to me. I was told it was against the law. I should’ve called the police. I was told that I needed to calm down and lower my voice. Um, no. We just drove for 2 hours and I was going out of town and needed my glasses. There was only one person working there that spoke to us properly. Everyone else pretty much told me too bad that they could mail them to me. Mail them? If you can mail them why can’t you just give them to me? They have to be checked? Why wasn’t that done when they first came in a week ago? Why wasn’t that done when I called and said I was on the way? And why in the world would all 3 opticians leave before noon on a Friday with family emergencies? I asked for them to call someone in to approve the release of our glasses and they wouldn’t even try. I am very upset that we were denied the products that we already paid for and treated with so much disrespect. No one ever said anything about glasses having to be checked before I take them home. I have been wearing glasses for 40 years and never has anything like this has ever happened. To make matters worse, my aunt is 80 years old and really needs her glasses to function. This is totally unacceptable behavior and customer service and we will never spend another dime with this company. I tried calling customer care but they were closed. Of course.

I brought my daughter in before school started to get glasses. The staff was friendly. It was a breeze going through the eye exam and picking out the glasses. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. We were told her glasses would be in, in 10-15 days. My disappointment comes in that until today, September 22, 2023, we never received any type of communication that her glasses were in. I've been calling each week after the 15 days was up to see if they were in, only to be told no they're not in. Today, Portia (God bless her) said that one pair was in August 17th, and the other pair came in today, 9/22/23. This is just so unacceptable and poor customer service. I want to say more; but I will not.

Had an appt on Wednesday Sept 6, 2023. Upon arrival, the first thing I noticed is no one checked my identification or verified my insurance card info. There is no sign in sheet. I was told to sit in the waiting area/ blue chairs.Once my name was called, I went into one of the rooms where I exams are given. The lady wastes time reciting some service they're pushing on customers for extra money- getting pictures of your eyes done, i declined so that explains the "exam" i was given. The exam room door is left wide open for everyone in the waiting area to hear everything. There is no privacy or HIPAA regulations enforced. Everything from the exam to the personal health questions asked are all out in the open for everyone to hear. The "exam" consists of the lady telling you to cover an eye with your hand- no black spoon/spatula is used. She changes the screens in literal seconds and tells you to read the letters. I have been wearing prescription eyeglasses since 1991, prescription contact lenses since 2005 and have never seen anything like this. You are not given a chance to respond so I know the "results " are invalid. After reason the chart, I normally receive drops to dilate my pupils at my eye dr. Here, they skip this. The next step is with the "dr". From my visit, this "dr" Bryant is looking to promote and sell certain brands to patients. I have worn Biofinity Energy and Biofinity Toric since 2017 -presccribed by a licensed contact specialist and eye surgeon with no problems. Today, this "dr" wants to change the brand im wearing to a brand- some off brand/ low quality/ inexpensive product the company is promoting as their brand. The medical reasoning behind this? None. The prescription didn't change because no formal eye exam was given. You can't tell someone their eyesight didn't change when you didn't test anything.Again, this "dr" Bryant asked me about changing to the company brand 3 different times. I told her no. Since the prescription is the exact same why would I change lenses?? Believe it or not, she still wrote the prescription for the brand she is promoting trying to sell for commission purposes versus writing the prescription for what the patient actually needs. Any "dr" that cares more about selling a product than helping patients is in the wrong industry. Those of us that wear contacts and eyeglasses can't order a new set of eyes because we lose our eyesight listening to "drs" that don't care. I will make it my business to contact the governing board in Tennessee to find out why this is allowed and why patients don't have rights here. The only positive thing about this appt was the Optician. Jeremy was very understanding, respectful, and knowledgeable. The only reason I would return to this location is for him to order my glasses or contacts. I refuse to be bothered with the unprofessionalism and lack of knowledge from the other staff.
