They moved us in September. I bought the “extra insurance” from them. I have yet to get my claim resolved from the damages. I have called numerous times. The guy that answers is always kind but the “owner” never calls me back. Really irritating, I have given them ample time to make things right. Movers were efficient and helpful.

Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience, partially due to a miscommunication, but nevertheless unacceptable. I was not effectively communicated with and it cost me $1000 more than I originally agreed on paying. Moreover, a jar of money went missing in the move and has not turned up since. I gave the business ample opportunity to make things right and they did not. I have higher expectations around communication than this business implemented and would not use their services again.

The movers were great very kind respectful and did the job in a timely manner in-spite of the freezing cold temperatures! I would recommend them to anyone!

Do NOT use this company that is located in Jackson TN on Ragland Rd. They backed into our carport (the property had been sold) and did $500.00 in damage and we have been trying to get them to fix it for 30 days and it's still not fixed. We have called multiple times and just get the run around. They don't care that we have told them we are going to take them to court, file a complaint with the BBB and that we have to pay for the damage that they caused. They broke multiple items that we didn't even ask for them to replace. We also bought the extra insurance from them to cover any damage.

Moved over Christmas, had the truck packed on December, 23rd 2022, the 3 men (little boys more like it) argued like little school girls, didnt load the truck right AND used our tools and packing equipment because they came unprepared due to the "weather"....yah blame the weather on your incompetence. Then after the job was completed they call their boss Brandon for the completion process and lie about their arrival time right there in front of all 4 of us who checked the time when they arrived which was at 11:21am (they were late by 21mins) and told their boss they arrived at 11am...the sheer ignorance of these people is unfathomable. AND a mistake on our part for not reading the reviews sooner. Atm idk how the furniture is we have yet to unpack it....

I definitely would not recommend this company, the name affordable right off the bat is a lie. I had a 1 bedroom apt worth of stuff, bedroom set, dining room set and a futon and some chests for the living room, I had all the boxes packed and stacked so all they had to do was put the cart under it and go. Took 3 guys 3 hours to load the truck and they didn't even get everything. I could have loaded it myself in under 2. They took a lunch , which was still on the clock. So a 1 bedroom apt, 40minutes away cost $1450. If you are looking for a move at unaffordable prices I highly recommend this company but if you are looking for a good move at actually affordable prices I would suggest you look elsewhere. I can't believe this company is still in business.

They move 3 different houses (domino closings) and we all had major problems with damages. Just heard of another person who just uses them and has realm problems. P

We had communicated with Ernest that we had to be out by 2:00 on Tuesday June 21, 2022. The packing was set for Monday, June 20 and went OK. Then Tuesday morning (at 9:00- YIKES!) a crew of two movers showed up to get our 2200 SF house loaded. The first two hours were good, but then the guys asked to take a quick lunch break. This idea of a "quick" break was a two hour break where they got high as a kite and reeked of weed. We told them when they got back that we close at 2:00 and we were irate that we couldn't get a broom clean done by 2:00 for the close. We got back on the phone to Ernest irate with the situation and he sent three more movers who STILL didn't get us out on time. The realtors got involved and thankfully we had a very patient and understanding buyer, so we signed an addendum to get out by 6:00. After we got back from closing, we noticed all kinds of our stuff AND their stuff. We got them to take a few remaining items to the truck using their personal vehicles, including a wedding present of ours, and we haven't seen hide or hair of it since. All in all, the experience was a nightmare, and this seems to be the recurring theme of these reviews. Find someone else if you can. This company was a BIG disappointment.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! we had them move us in May of '22. Based on what my husband told them (3 bedroom suits, living room, dining room, etc) they estimated one truck would get it... $120/hour. he hired them. they arrived and informed us the lady who quoted us $120/hour was no longer there and they could find NO evidence we had been quoted $120/hr. we had no choice but to go with them at $180/her. it took them two different trips and they STILL didn't get everything. my formal dining room suit was TRASHED, with gouges out of the wood. repeated calls to the company have never been answered or calls returned. I wish I had never heard of this company and wish I could give them a -10 rating. don't hire this company unless you want them to haul off your trash.

They steal your stuff. They talk to you so you can't see what they're doing. A new bedroom suite when it arrives at my new house it had holes in it. They stole my stuff. Please don't use this company because you'll be sorry.

Let me start off by saying the 3 guys that came into our home to move us were awesome guys. We, however, paid for professional movers ( at a not so A-Affordable price of 180/hr) and it was anything but. My son and I had to end up kinda taking over to get it done, 9 hours later. My driveway, wood floors, steps and numerous pieces furniture were scratched/scuffed/ruined. Had to pack up 3 vehicles and a trailer full of stuff, because after two trips in the box truck, there was still that much left because the truck wasn't packed accordingly. During this time, the owner precedes to threaten my wife via text with a felony because he had not received payment (made him sweat a little, but really we were busy doing HIS job). I don't fault his guys, they tried hard. They have NOT been properly trained by someone that's supposedly been in the business for two decades. I really wish I had found this review page before we hired this company. I hope the guys get the training they deserve, and find a better company to work for, because this one gets an F from me, not an A.

It was a terrible experience, over $10,000 worth of damages to my belongings and my house. I paid for the $50 insurance and its been 6 weeks and they will not return my calls.

My experience was Horrible. I paid for three guys to move my furniture. All my things were not able to fit on the truck because out of one of the guys own mouth the truck was loaded wrong. They forgot the screws to my furniture at my old home and my beds were put together with mismatched legs from two different beds. I reached out to the company and was told they would call me back and never received a call smh. I had to pay someone else to finish moving me and now my beds will have to be taken down and put back together.

DO NOT RECOMMEND! I used this company back in march 2021. The actual moving process went smoothly BUT I definitely was taken advantage of. I was told on the phone when I booked that their rate was $120/hr. The movers worked approx 2 hours. I was charged over $500 for the service. They also lied about the traveling fee which was only suppose to be $35. Once they got there they also informed that they don't work no more than 2 hours. I would NOT use this moving company ever again. I advise you not to either.

Not a recommended service at this point! We used them on 9-21-21 to Move our house. We packed and they moved the items. Overall the guys that showed up had really good attitudes and were easy to get along with. The guys hung with us through the job and we were grateful for that. Why I would not recommend: 1) Scheduled 5 guys and 2 trucks but they only sent 4 guys and 2 trucks which made for a long day. The guys said they weren't working the follow day so that gave us one day to move it all out with one person short. 2) The 4 guys didn't normally work together so they didn't work as efficiently as they could have. The guys took frequent breaks and they ran over a neighbors mail box which pulled them away from the work for a period of time dealing with that. 3) Several items got damaged during the move (ripped mattress, scratches on tables and chairs, damaged wall, damaged stair tread, missing hardware on a desk, broken box springs, broke wheel mount on rolling tool cradle. 4) No response on submitted claim form as of today! We purchased the extra insurance at the start of the move but have yet to get a response from AAffordable Moving and Storage! We are less than pleased with this moving company. AAffordable Moving and Storage is not one I would recommend based off of our experience so far. Hopefully, I will be able to post a followup on my experience soon!
